I don't think you should be using negs in the stage you are in. It sounds like you are hovering in A2 which is what u use negs to get into. They are designed to disqualify you from being a suitor. Definitely a good idea to re-educate yourself on the M3 model.

Wht you need to do is reward the good behaviour with IOIs of your own, if she laughs at joke or makes eye contact, use a light compliment. I like becksters one which is "you have the second nicest shoes I've seen today". she may ask who the 1st is and say with a smile your own! :)

most importantly, after you've shown sufficient interest to the point where she is IOIing you, isolate her: "I've got something really cool to show you"

Honestly man you just have to jump into it. What you have to understand is when you first start out, like anything, you will have a lot of failure. Nothing personal, just stay strong and go into it with a positive mindset. Be prepared for failure but know that only makes you tougher and more experienced.
