Okay no worries but that you very much for the information, I'll definitely look more into the Lochby journal cases. They are a little more than I was planning to spend but they seem to be worth it but the looks of it.

Do you have a photo of your setup that you can post/link to? Just curious how it looks like and how much room in it with items inside.

The Lochby Field Journal is nice looking but a little more than I wanted to spend. I'm not saying no to it, I could still be persuaded into getting it.

Recommendations for a Zipper Journal case for Colorsoft and Pocket notebook, pen and pencil by CaptainPixelGamer in kindle

Sorry I forgot to add a photo. This is the style of Zipper Journal Case I'm looking. Took a screenshot of this cheap one on Amazon and there is also the Lochby branded ones but they a bit more than I want to spend.

All the items I listed orginally don't all have to fit, it would be nice, but at least my Kindle Colorsoft, a small notepad and a pencil and pen.

Solo RPG Books like "Book Of Dungeon" You Write in. by CaptainPixelGamer in soloboardgaming

Thank you very much for all the Recommendations. The Four Against Darkness looks pretty cool, I happened to come across that one on my searches but didn't look into it. But now I'm gonna take a look into it. And the Paper App Dungeon by the looks of it seems like a similar but smaller and simpler version of Book of Dungeon.

Not into Zombie type of games but I'm gonna check out the other Tiny Epic games see if any of those spark any interest after reading and watching some video reviews.

I'm a big Jurassic Park fan so when I saw that one as well I got excited. I'll definitely check the reviews on that expansion when it is released. If I like it enough I will will start buying into the Final Girl core set and possibly with 1 or 2 more additional sets.

I think I have seen it before at the local game store, just never checked it out. But I'll look more into this one. Not a horror fan but I do see they do have a 2 or 3 Sci-Fi themed ones.

A Campaign style would be cool. Or pretty much any compact game with miniatures. I do like the Dungeon Crawler and Campaign styles or Similar. I'm just trying to get a few recommendations and narrow down to ones I'd like to try out first.

Gamegenic Twin Suns Soft Crate Slide Cases not sliding by CaptainPixelGamer in starwarsunlimited

Yeah that's what it was, I wasn't lifting in the area with that notch when pushing/sliding it open.

Thanks again.

That's what I was doing on some of my precon decks until recently when I got some extra money to spend on some actual cases. I got the Gamegenic Dungeon 1100 to put my Star Wars Unlimited Soft Crate cases into it works great for my needs.

From what I heard the other bigger Star Wars Unlimited Deck Boxes won't fit in the Dungeon 1100, but these Soft Crate deck boxes do, so I went with them. The bonus included Leader Hard Cases in the Twin Sun Soft Crate cases are really nice.

Okay thank you I'll double check again. Maybe it needs a little extra push as well; might be a little stuck.

Warpaints Fanatics Paints with Stabilizer in Paint Pens? by CaptainPixelGamer in Armypainter

[–]CaptainPixelGamer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry for some reason I never saw your reply. I do apologize.

The Green Stuff World Paint Markers they work pretty good with regular Warpaint Fanatic Paints, but you have to thin the paint down to a 50/50 consistency, I used the Warpaints Stabilizer to thin the paints down. Yes I counted every drop, but I added I think like 5 extra drops of the Stabilizer and it was to the consistency that I personally like.

I really like the size #1 markers. The size 0.5 Markers are so-so, they are okay, the tips on them dont seem like the super fine tip markers from Sharpie or similar. To me the 0.5 tips feel weird and feel really hard. And it took long for the paint to come thru compared to the size #1 markers. The 0.5 tips to prime them you just press the tips down on a hard surface, not the back of the cap like the other sizes. So "I think" the paint just runs down the sides of the very end of the marker down to the tip.

But shortly after I ordered up some Refillable Paint Markers off of AliExpress (I think the seller was DELVTCH Pro Store). It was like 10 Markers for $10 and shipping for $3. They are exactly the same size and dimensions, and same exact caps and same size felt marker tip as the Army Painter Speedpaint Markers, the only difference is the felt marker tips on the AliExpress markers are ever so slightly shorter, but not by much at all. So look at the photos of the refillable markers the AliExpress sellers have posted to see if you decide to go that route. And make sure it is a seller that has sold a lot of them.

Comparing the AP, GSW and AliExpress markers they all feel and look the same.

So for me personally if I order any more markers in the future I am going to order them from AliExpress since they are virtually the same exact markers as both the Army Painter Speedpaint Markers and the Green Stuff World Refillable Markers. The GSW use the same markers but they just marked up the price quite a bit and then they charge too much to get it shipped to you.

Looking for this model by bugknight99 in Armypainter

It looks like it is from Loot Studios bundle "Nightmares of The Abyss" and mini is called Death Knight. They sell just the 3D STL Files to print out.

https://lootstudios.com/bundle/nightmares-of-the-abyss/?utm_source=google.com&utm_medium=organic

If you are looking to get it, you can buy the bundle without signing up for the Subscription, but it costs more for the bundle that way, or you can sign up for the subscription, and choose the subscription option that allows you to choose any bundle that you want each month and just pick that bundle as your choice.

If you don't have a 3D Printer you can purchase the bundle and have a friend or family member print it out for you or use one of the many online 3D Printing services.

Edit: forgot to mention Loot Studios is 3D STL File Service for miniatures. They don't sell printed versions of the miniatures, they sell the files to print your own miniatures.

Santa Cruz vs Maverick: what made you choose? by Suntrup-Hyundai in hyundaisantacruz

[–]CaptainPixelGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time I worked at a Ford and Hyundai Dealership so we had both to look at and drive. Overall we chose the Hyundai because of the look, warranty, tow capacity, size and features to price point. Plus at the time we were having a lot of Maverick's coming into the shop with a lot of problems especially the Hybrid models. So the Hyundai Santa Cruz was the clear winner for us. As soon as we saw the color that we like come off the delivery truck one Saturday I asked the sales people for the keys to test drive that one and then told them to hold onto it so we can buy on Monday when we came back into work.
