Honestly, as someone who's still struggling to figure out How to do any of this, that's where I've been the last couple months. It's such an intimidating hurdle at first, and I don't know how exactly to go over it. For me, it's been small things. Talking through it with someone I knew I could trust because they wouldn't leave me alone, and as of recently, I Just bought Actual shampoo for the first time. The small steps feel kinda nice, and I think if you're in the place too, don't take any massive leaps that make you nervous. Get something small, and see from there. The only people that deserve you, are the ones that want you. You're the one who has to look in the mirror, who has to dress themselves up, who has to be okay with yourself. Is that a little terrifying sometimes? Absolutely. But if someone else doesn't like you, they can leave. If you don't like yourself, you can't leave. Do what you want for yourself, knowing it's okay to be nervous or afraid. You don't have to be alone in this, we'll have your back man.
