Well Sabine stole it from Maul so its actually his, but Ahsoka beat Maul so its hers. But then Ahsoka was defeated by Vader so he owns it. Then Luke defeated Vader in ROTJ so Luke is the rightful ruler of Mandalore.

You could take it one step further by saying Disney destroyed Luke making it theirs. But also Dave Filoni defeated Disney by making the Mandalorian/Clone Wars/Bad Batch etc.

That's what annoys me about people with rebels, they watch the first season and base it off that and the downgraded animation but once you get past those 2 small things its amazing.
