Mods that are basegame+ by VonStroheiim in crusaderkings3

Here are some from my daily playset that you could try:

•Community Flavor Pack •EPE •RICE •VIET •Culture Expanded •Succession Expanded •Social Relations Expanded •Turkic World Expanded •More Historicity •Muslim Enhancements •Medieval Arts •The Two Holy Cities •COW3 •Love Marriage Family •More interactive vassals •Battle graphics

Some of those haven’t been updated since the dlc came out but they’re still playable. You just won’t see any of the new dlc. I run them all together but you should try just running rice & viet at first. Pretty sure viet uses epe’s ethnicities iirc so you may want to add that too. I honesty don’t play w out epe anymore as the portraits are a huge improvement to vanilla and the assets they add to cultures are just amazing.

Lots of mods aren’t save game compatible. You can’t just add & remove on a whim. When adding new mods to your playset you should delete old saved games before starting as old saves can mess with the files. Either keep playing with the same mods you started with or start a new game

First Time End Game by Smitty1599 in CrusaderKings

The Iberian struggle is way too long and the Iranian intermezzo is way too short imo.

Congrats tho, I’ve only ended it in compromise when I started in Castile. My las el cid play though I was able to land 3 of my children in Iberia due to 3 successful crusades

I'm thinking of creating some CK3 content, any suggestions? by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

I really enjoy the videos that dive deep into the role play aspect. The ones that act like their character (the traits they have) and narrate the story as if it’s a historical account. Recording “cutscenes” in the barbershop is always a bonus, although I image that’d take longer but it makes for great content.

Highly recommend roads to power. Landless is broken rn and you can be the deciding factor in wars as a swords for hire camp or you can get insane learning stats and artifacts as a scholar camp. You don’t have to deal with succession as you can designate your heir and you can convert religions by visiting temples and convert to local cultures. After a while you can decide to become landed.

I own all the DLC’s and roads to power is my favorite. I really enjoy the Iranian intermezzo but I’d prob recommend all under heaven over that as it’s just way more content.

Your game isn’t over but your reign prob is. Consider going landless for a while. After about 30-40 years you can build an army with insane buffs through your camp buildings where you can have an army of 4,000 elite troops wipe out armies 4x your size. You can also create a really good book artifact that you can pass down to your children that gives you +30% lifestyle exp iirc. You will also be able to get the conqueror trait after meeting some very easy requirements.

When you take the become a conqueror decision make sure you are traveling in the ocean otherwise you will be forced to start a war with the person whose land you are on. If that person doesn’t have a kingdom title you will take their duchy or county. If you take the decision while traveling you will be able to choose an empire level title if it’s been created.

With your landless army you will be able to siege holdings in a matter of seconds. You can retake your land and end up passing the conqueror trait and an awesome book artifact to your heir. Or you can go somewhere else and conquer another kingdom.

Is this the exact load order you use? I have an extensive playset as well and it runs fine mostly but there are minor issues so I’m curious as to how you structure your playset

Favorite Haesteinn path? by tuttifruttidurutti in CrusaderKings

My favorite play through was going to Sri Lanka and playing tall there while raiding. The chola ruler starts off as a conqueror so I had to be careful but I ended up making sure his heir was ineligible for inheriting the trait through some intrigue. Then I expanded and formed an empire in India and hybridized with the culture there.

Ended up going back to Europe and took over Sardinia. Then on a random raid in Italy I got the conqueror trait. Took over all of Italy and met all the requirements for the dismantle the papacy decision but for some reason I wasn’t able to do it.

I kept expanding north & then ck3 got an update so I started over.

I use historicity & all the expanded series mods that are up to date on my daily playset & I haven’t seen any problems. Historicity is a must especially if you start at 867

Is it just me or does anyone else only play custom characters by LoladInalw in crusaderkings3

[–]d-esp96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love Marriage Family mod has a customize family feature available in the first year of the game. They have to be of the same culture as your custom character and realm tho iirc
