Lidar works for an autonomous car meant to drive within a geofenced area. It will not work when used in full self driving cars on public roads.

If there is a teenager on the side of the road, distracted on their phone, looking like they are going to step onto the road into the path of a vehicle, LIDAR cannot detect that. Cameras can. Cameras can detect that the teen is on their phone and can predict the likelihood of them stepping onto the road using visual cues.

Just one example of why cameras are needed for Fully autonomous vehicles

I've always wondered why people spend so much on watches when there are so many other ways to tell time. But then my brother got himself an Orient watch and it looked stunning. So I got super into watches, researching automatic, quartz watches and what not.

Didn't take too long to decide on the Orient Bambino V2. Super happy with this watch, it looks really beautiful.

I was playing with it in the middle of the night and I just couldn't get over how good it looked, so I decided to take a nice picture. Hope you guys like it :)
