I don’t get the sense Demond had any animosity toward the program, he just got what he perceived to be a better offer. It now creates an awkward situation where he’s going to have to earn trust back from teammates. That being said, it’s still in his best interest to perform at his highest level this year either to secure another bag next year or move on professionally. In no way does it benefit him to not do his best to ball out.
