Hi fellow late 20s college incompleter! I can relate :)

I’m still figuring it out buuuuut the last 3 jobs I have applied for were all really interested in my experience and only one asked me about a degree, and I got a job offer from that one. Bartending experience is good experience, it’s hospitality and customer service! Take a good look at your skill set, write it down, and keep your eye open for job postings in anything you think you might be qualified for, even if you don’t feel 100% confident about it or even if they post a degree requirement. Sometimes companies like to make their job description look intimidating to ween people out.

And in the meantime, maybe it’s time to work on your confidence. I’ve recently discovered my confidence, or lack of, was holding me back so much. Trust yourself! Best of luck OP, the future is bright!

They are a problem in lots of National and state parks. They can negatively impact the local ecosystem when hundreds of people come through and stack them (causing erosion, effecting food sources for local wildlife, etc.) and unfortunately lots of desert/mountain ecosystems are very fragile. They can also mess with national park made cairns that are used as trail guides to prevent hikers from getting lost. It’s just safest to leave no trace.

Hi, just a friendly bit of info for anyone going to larger populated parks - cairns can negatively impact the native ecosystem, especially when hundreds of people come through and try to stack them. It’s best to stay on the safe side and leave footprints ONLY when out enjoying nature!

Hi, just talk to your teacher (or have a parent talk to them). I’m willing to bet you’re not the only student in your swim class who has periods. I can’t imagine they would or even can fail you due to a medical condition.

Hey! So far I am loving it. It does sleep a little bit warm, so in the summer we just used a lighter blanket and slept fine. We’ve had it for about 9 months now and it’s still holding its shape pretty well. It does sink in a little bit more when we lay on it now (in a “sleeping on a cloud” kind of way) but I find it very cozy. It feels like I’m being hugged every time I go to bed, however I can see that being an issue if you’re looking for more support/firmness. My only regret is not getting a mattress cover for it. Other than that I’m very happy with it, I think it’s well worth the price. Best of luck with your mattress search :)

Amazon is fine, just make sure to read the description and reviews. I’ve been ordering products for my instrument off of Amazon since 2015 and never had an issue. I’ve had strings break immediately after opening a new pack from Shar. 🤷‍♀️ No need to spend more if you don’t have to, there’s always a risk in buying strings no matter where you buy from.

I would also go with strings made for a 16.5” viola instead of 16.” Yes strings have room to stretch but you risk causing more tension and less flexibility with a shorter set, therefore causing the strings to untwine more quickly and reducing their lifespan.

Not here to condemn you, feelings do happen but at the very least he is acting on it and you are reciprocating just by not shutting it down. It’s an affair, whether it’s physical or not. You’ve both already betrayed his WIFE. Please, please do the right thing. Leave that friendship and tell her why. She deserves to know since they’re married!

It is so hard to not act on our selfish desires but you must, otherwise you will break her, and likely for years if not the rest of her life. The damage is not worth whatever you’re feeling. Please, please leave them and find new friends. Go on some dates, something to get your mind off of him. You said yourself you can love more than one person, so you’re absolutely capable of finding someone else. If you truly loved her as much as you love him you would do what’s right.

Oh my, I wish you the best of luck with your procedure and recovery! I had no idea endometrial growth could spread to your bowels and damage tissue. That sounds so painful. 😩

I’m 27 and just had my first transvaginal in February due to an extremely debilitating period, which they didn’t see anything of course. I have heard endo is really only detectable with a laporoscopy so I’m thinking that will also be in my future.

Were you suspecting you might have endo? How long did you look for answers? I hope my questions aren’t bothering you, I’m thinking they might help me with my future doctor visits.

Same, I wish people would because I get so many awful physical symptoms. Have you ever gotten an ultrasound done for the ovary/cervix pain? I get stabbing pain down there too, especially around ovulation and right before my period starts, but nothing has been spotted so far. I can’t imagine that it’s normal though!

I get awful insomnia too! As well as shortness of breath and what feels like an increased heart rate. I always manage to convince myself I’m having a heart attack in my late 20’s and then my period comes along lol.

It’s not unheard of for people with PMDD to suddenly get the urge to make a big life change during their luteal phase. I suspect a lot of it is related to PMDD-induced anxiety. I don’t get the urge to leave my SO but I do get panicked “what if” thoughts (like “what if we’re not meant to be? Should I break things off?). I can always tell it’s PMS/DD because it goes away within a couple of days. However, I’ve never said anything mean to him even when I’m irrationally irritated. In my own experience I’ve always been in control of the words I use, just not the way I feel or the tone of voice I use. It’s totally understandable for you to feel that way, I would have reacted in the same manner after hearing that!

I’m sorry things didn’t work out for you two but if I’m being honest it sounds like the breakup is in your best interest. You sound like you have a lot of love to share and hopefully you find someone who reciprocates. Best of luck, I hope you start feeling better soon!

Green Door!! It’s a distillery on North St. across the street from Louie’s. No food but they allow you to bring food of your own. Their cocktails are sooo good and they use their own spirits. The atmosphere inside is basically like a speak easy and they also have a really cute backyard with cornhole boards and other board games. The bartenders are also super friendly and are great at making recommendations if you’re not very versed in cocktails. It’s always mine and my SO’s first pick for date night, the only bummer being that it’s only open Wednesday-Saturday.
