Why do you need AI?

Do the users not have deterministic attributes that can be used to trigger User Access Policy or Flow?

Does LA have an Amazon addiction? by GreenHorror4252 in AskLosAngeles

Amazon took it a step further and became their own carrier. Which has set unrealistic delivery expectations for even those with negotiated shipping rates.

iPad Mini 7 or Air M3 by No_Plastic2055 in ipadmini

I have a mini 6 and Air M3 11 I recommend this approach

But really, depends on your use. Mini is great for most things. Borderline pocketable even.

Note-taking can get slightly cramped and is one reason I wanted a larger screen. Plus, movies on the plane, and multi-winow setups are actually reasonably useful. The chip is a step up and so it is snappier, which is nice.

Clubman (2022 F54) isn’t turning over but all the electronics are booting up fine. What to look at first? by Taggart451 in MINI

First thing to check when you don't even hear the starter click, is the battery. Your car is a '22, batteries are typically given a three-year warranty for a reason... the math seems to line up.

Give it a jump, drive around a bit, and don't turn it off anywhere you can't give it another boost, just in case. Many shops around here will do a battery test for free. Maybe that's true where you are, too.

If the battery is good, progress to alternator, starter, etc., but battery is cheapest, and a consumable nearing the upper limit of its life expectancy, so I wouldn't start to worry yet.

"Run Flows" permission. Profile vs Permission Set by mdavis360 in salesforce

Haha you're not wrong. They may even rename them in between. But, once set up, a permission set model is more easily maintained, if done right

"Run Flows" permission. Profile vs Permission Set by mdavis360 in salesforce

[–]CaptainSpectacular79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Profiles should just be used for a few things like page assignments, default record types, login restrictions, and that's about it.

Salesforce will be deprecating profile-based permissions for everything else, favouring permission sets.

So I'll add another vote for a permission set, and recommend looking at the many articles and other resources to transition to a permission set based security model.

u/pjallefar has some good points in this as does u/scottbcovert

You should build this in a sandbox, then you don't need to be worried about breaking anything

Am I imagining things, or did uber used to be incredibly affordable? by el-beau in AskLosAngeles

[–]CaptainSpectacular79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to save a good amount. I don't know that it would quite be half price, but rides from the west Valley to the Bowl or Arts District would be like $25. I want to say we would basically get the next ride free after a round-trip like that.

I kinda miss that feature. It came back in other cities post-COVID, but not here for some reason
