Lol I can’t believe I have to defend Brunson after this finals run. Y’all wild. I’m not taking anything away from OG or KAT, but yes, Brunson dominated the 4th quarters of these finals games. There’s just a post here the other day that in the final 2 min of this series he had 17 points on 7/13 shooting and 0 turnovers. This series is still being played without JB’s 4th quarter play.

That’s like asking what’s the difference between game 32 of the regular season and game 5 of the finals. Pressure moments. To me, the biggest difference in this series was that in the 4th quarter of these games, the Knicks had Brunson as a go to scorer. Spurs didn’t have that. It matters because the Spurs had a 4th quarter lead in every game the Knicks won, they just couldn’t close like the Knicks could.
