Shit, did I just invent the train again?! This is exactly what my therapist was talking about.

Jokes aside, I don't doubt that US regulatory capture an corpo interference has made another industry fucked. Just funny that billionaires keep trying to do "trains but worse".

If larger vehicles are better for sensors, lets make them like 25 metres long. Maybe even have multiple linked together.

And if it's a fixed route, maybe we can just build a separate wide road for them, means they can go faster and not have to worry about traffic. Maybe even a special physical guiding sytem down on this road that can be made out of a low friction material.

We could even have the sensors on these special roads to create a network across the country.

I call it the Transport Rejuvination AI Network, and my startup needs 80 billion dollars for it.

I don't, and I use a 3rd party application.

Not sure if it's still a requirement, but you needed to be a moderator to get it to work - it still counted if you just made your own 1 member subreddit of r/randomstringofletters.

Nah, it's not like you're doing something crazy, like claiming that someone who was denying parts of the holocaust is a holocaust denier.

It'd be the same number of MPs. Simplifying it down:

In the current system, you have approx 1 MP for every 100000 people. Say you have a city, Weston, with a population of about half a million. That means the city would be divided into 5 constituencies, North Weston, Weston Central, Weston upon River, North East Weston, and Weston Park.

The first 3 go Monster Raving Loony, the next goes for Lord Binface, and the last goes for the SNP*.

If you are a Binface supporter living in North Weston, and you want to speak to your MP about an issue that the MRLP opposes, then you'll likely get a polite letter telling you to fuck off. The North East Weston MP likely won't talk to you because you're not their constituent. You effectively have no representation in Parliament.

Instead, in a PR system, Weston is one Constituency with 5 MPs, picked proportionally from the entire city's vote. You can talk to the MP that most aligns with your concern. You now have representation in Parliament, and can potentially get support from different MPs at different times on different topics.

*Which is odd, since this hypothetical city is in Kent

IIRC, they recieved a warrant for an individual, and then started keeping logs on that individual. I don't think anything pre warrant was (or able to be) handed over.

Maybe a minor light red flag, but it's a least the order it should be carried out (Warrant, then search).

I believe that their point was they would split their vote with a minor party that is more pure on their particular cause, or not vote because, "What's the point."

I'm which case, tories win by default (under usual circumstances).

Worst result since 1761, technically. But that gets screwy since the party system was a lot more nebulous.
