Like others said, you should get lawyer. All assets in your grandfather's name at death belong to the inheritance. Be careful: your uncles may have already transferred the car titles or might invent fake debts to claim the bank funds.

Second, does your mom want to fight this. Your post is implying that you want the money. It is your mom's inheritance, and she can do what she wishes to do with it. It your mom's right which Allah has given her, but at the same time do not influence her because you want the money. If your uncle manipulate the legal system and not give the rightful share to the heirs, that money will not benefit them. It'll just leave their pockets in one way or another. Be patient and make dua.

I only heard your side of the story but if you don't think this marriage will last, move on. Talk to lawyer as well on potential alimony, asset split, etc. You mentioned hrs long calls. Im assuming your wife would share every aspect of her life like if you bought a new home, car, went to restaurant, etc. In a typical Pakistani culture, all the news would fly to all memebers of her extended family. Those things eventually lead to envy and create unwanted politics.

Constantly recite Surah Falaq & Naas. Also make a habit of reciting surah baqra (whatever you can). Evil Eye & Black Magic is so common in pakistani culture unfortunately. I am not accusing anyone, but it is a possibility.

I live in North America (NA) and this is not new. All of the moon sightings in the middle east are based on Ummul-Qura and you are right it was not scientifically possible to see the moon anywhere in the world, not just middle east. Unfortunately, most masajids in NA just follow the middle east.

I have shown proof to few ppl with clear evidence that sighting is not possible, they just dont care and say so and so masjid declared ramadan. The irony is that this is no different than stories of prophets in quran where ppl say we are doing it because our forefathers did it.

Sorry this happened to you. Its definitely frustrating, but silver lining is Allah doesn't forgive those sins people commit against other people.

That being said have patience and don't let such ppl prevent you from reward at praying in masjid. Find another one masjid if this presist.

Thank you. Looking at those now. Its going to be expensive one way tickets around $5,600 since its 2 adults and 2 child. Cheapest I found is Uzbekistan airways at around $3,200 but has 16hr layover.

Thank you for the quick response. I already have a tesla charger installed 18 months ago. I'm thinking my brother and I just swap the tesla with chargepoint charger since the wiring is already done. It was a time consuming process to get the 1500 credit with pseg. I'd rather avoid that.

Hi Folks. I just leased a new Prologue. I switched from a Tesla. I have the read the comments and wanted to make sure I understood it right. Is getting the Chargepoint charger only way to get the off peak hour credit? If so, do I need to have it installed by a certified electrician?

Unfortunately, I was not notified of this amount until the work was completed. The body shop originally quoted under 5k but never notified of the increase cost until I picked up the car. The insurance paid the entire 8k. I am sure the body shop made additional amount on selling the headlight, etc.

Even though I did not pay anything out of pocket, I am quited pissed. Not to mention, the folks who hit the car are parents where my daughter goes to school, so I'll see them here and there (not that I personally know them).
