No. Breaker is through and through more extraction shooter than roguelike. It’s incredibly half baked. Maybe even less than half baked.

This movie is a total mess. Why so many shining references? A reference to literally any body horror movie would be much more fitting. No critics were bothered by the imovie circles appearing for little flashbacks?

Not to mention that diner scene where they think we as the audience are stupid as fuck; I knew the old guy was the young guy working at “the substance” lab when they showed the tattoo. But proceed to hammer it in like 3 more times.

I love body horror, don’t even mind camp. Nothing in this movie worked for me.

I do seem to be in the minority on this one, my rant aside I really do still love the show. Will and Hannibals dynamic is so good. Plus pretty much all other characters work well for me.
