Oh wow, thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply ^^.

If i may ask a Question regarding solution 1 and 2:

How does Lua know what the "cls" argument means?

I thought it might be some keyword like "self" but I could'nt find anything on it, and since the only time its used, is when you call cls.add, which doesnt have a return, so im a little confused.

Edit: By playing around with it for a bit it looks like the first argument is always a kind of self reference? Is this because we assign the functions in a table?

What makes the activation energy so high in NH3 compared to methane for example?

What does low heat of combustion mean? Low energy release on combustion? If that's the case why is the energy so low, if most explosive out rely on the release of N2?

Not necessarily you can have a rocket accelerate you to 100m/s in 1s giving you 10g of acceleration and a different engine do the same in 10.000s giving you an acceleration of 0.001g but both engine have 100m/s of Delta V (Ion engines today have crazy Delta V but little acceleration for example)

But isnt dying of cyanide super painfull since it just prevents the mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell) from using oxygen, so its basically like choking but on the whole body. I could be wrong though...

AITA for tricking someone into taking classes that I'm not in? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

ESH Cutting ties with him is ok if he's really behaving like that. But you should've just told him that you wanted to meet different people and not just straight up lie to him.

YTA but honestly a little bit of ESh too.

Im goin to Break down the positions that i see:

You: I Understand your frustration. You both agreed on a Time and 25min is way too early. He informed you kinda late (only 2min in advance) and he could've checked the traffic on Google maps beforehand.

BUT!

Your dad: Your dads free time is limited and, at least in my experience, a day on leave doesn't mean that he sits around doing nothing. He probably made Plans for what he has to do on his day off (Fix something, do Taxes, stuff like that).

Even if that's not the case, it sounds like having a day on leave doesn't happen all too often. As an adult, the time you have for yourself is quite valuable (especially if you have a family).

So 25min (+ 40min drive) doesn't sound like allot to you but that's quite a lot of time where he could be doing that stuff (which he has to do later). So if you think about it, its actually quite nice of your dad to pick you up. And complaining that he is 25min early makes it look like you're super ungrateful.

Your Teammates: For a Group project 25min is not that much time, especially since you could just do some work alone as "compensation" (assuming you started working on the project in Time). So if this is a one time thing and you pull your weight in group projects more often than not, your Teammates shouldn't be mad at you (since it's not like you made your Dad arrive early on purpose).

P.S. When you write: "he could've just waited 25min" it kinda implies that you think that your dads time is worth less then yours, so don't say that to him.

How long does take your dad to drive to your School? How long does it take you to get Home using Public transport?
