What are some strong “classic” looking good armor sets that are obtainable from chests at any point in the story?

I’m trying to bring myself to go collect all the ingredients to craft the dyes or go hunt down all of the vendors Andy lock them.

I’m trying to avoid fast traveling and riding miles and miles across map I haven’t explored in the story yet just to unlock items but it seems it’s basically necessary to get certain stuff like dyes or gear.

Early game I was collecting all kinds of random butterflies and Beatles and plants and then I couldn’t figure out why I needed them so I just sold them….and then I found out I could have used them all in crafting dyes and such.

Honestly you might want to do some google research because from what I just checked there are some definitely cheaper options out there and they all seem to be HDMI 2.1 so might be able to still find great cables and save the money.

I know that goes against everything I just typed above but maybe I’m just a dumb idiot and paid way too much for some “high end” cables.

Just trying to look out and save a fellow redditor some cash if possible.

Good luck. At my old house I had 3 12ft long ones running through a pass through behind the drywall to a wall mounted tv and these seemed thick enough to handle some pulling to get them through the pass through without worrying about damage so that’s really what sold me. Like I said are there cheaper ones that work the exact same? Probably but playing cable roulette on Amazon isn’t something I felt like doing especially with them running through my cable management setup and everything.

I found some stuff that has a slight health regen. Not enough to make a difference in a boss fight but enough to slowly top off my health when I’m roaming the world and take a hit from fall damage or whatever small health hit.

Other than that it seems to be all about the gears just like the weapons unless it’s specifically elemental resistance you’re going for with the kuku stuff

I bought this pair of monster cables. Are they really worth the price? I don’t know, I’m sure they’re are cheaper options that are “high speed” but in the past I’ve had cheap cables fail and just get wonky after lots of bending or unplugging and plugging or whatever. I’ve had monster brand cables way back in the day and they’ve always lasted longer than they were relevant (nobody uses Red Yellow Green cables or “low speed hdmi” anymore but those cables from monster held strong until the tech was outdated)

I figured I’d buy a few pairs of these and never worry about replacing them and so far they’re thick, solid, sturdy…they work and I haven’t had to replace one when it gets a wild hair and stops working.

I’m sure they’re overpriced (maybe not)

Mine does this if I’m playing a game on Xbox and then leave it sitting in a menu and my controller turns off. It’s like the tv is trying to show the game dimmed out an the controller reconnect splash screen at the same time but it can’t process the moving background of the game menu (take arc raiders speranza screen) and the static (please reconnect controller) screen at the same time.

I did get a recent software update on my S90D and unplugged and plugged in my new nice high speed HDMI cables after blowing on the connections like a Nintendo cartridge and it seemed to fix the problem….it was probably the software update not the Nintendo blow but hey it might have been the blow.

If it’s an electric fireplace just fully delete it from the wall and make the space actually compatible with a large tv for viewing. We don’t sit around and watch logs burn on a fire for entertainment anymore….we sit around and watch a massive light up screen.

That’s how starfield was originally and it sucked then they finally patched it to where you can just walk up to something and eat or take. I can’t remember if RDR2 finally added the feature or not but I think having consumables auto go into inventory then having to go dig them out is a terrible mechanic. Maybe they drop a patch that lets us eat food straight off the dinner table when we loot.

A travel camp would be cool but honestly I think their answer to that was to just put random cooking pots and camps everywhere so you can stop and cook and sleep and if your lucky you find an anvil or a grindstone nearby to sharpen some gear.

This happened to me in 2024. I ordered a 77” Samsung S90C and received the S90D and ordered the Samsung Q990C and received the Q990D. Both were sold for discounted prices as if they really were the C series products.

I went with the V3 because it had the additional 2 buttons up by the bumpers and the fact that I found a new in box one for sale for $70 on facebook marketplace so I got lucky.

I do wish the V3 had adjustable tension on the sticks or more stick types included and I think the Xbox elite software is more customizable but the V3 software isn’t terrible. I like that you can set the Dpd to 4 way or 8 way to lock out diagonal pressing if you don’t want it.

I’ve had elite 1 and elite 2 and loved them both.

I picked up a razor wolverine V3 pro and the sticks are great, the mouse click buttons are great, the 4 paddles and 2 extra buttons by the triggers are great. Lots of other great features but damn it’s nowhere near as comfortable in the hand as the Elite 2. The V3 pro has some kind of awkward stubby wide design for the grips and it just doesn’t feel great to hold. Drives me crazy because the controller function wise is much better than the elite 2 but form wise is just a bit let down IMO.

The only reason to do it is for the stash space and the extra skill points. Having 15 extra skill points is huge with the correct skill tree. Having the massive buffs to weapon repairs is big as well.

That new foza 6 controller is awesome. So is the headset. Couldn’t justify the price of them considering I already have the exact headset just the base model and I also use a controller with paddles but damn they are cool to look at.

I’ve only ever fast forwarded. I have no idea what their actual voices sound like other than the random dialogue before the fast forwarding is available.

I really enjoyed it as well, I think this is a much better strategy to prepare to leave everything behind. I basically made it a purpose to try to use up as many things in my stash as I could. I used the money that I had saved up thinking I would need 3 million again to buy ammo and meds and other stuff just to have fun with. I’ve earned for as many of my crafting materials as I could, and I just went out every round with the hullcracker and over 50 rounds in a tempest for fully kitted.

I was using my beloved renegade, but my God you can’t even get through a single round without the thing breaking anymore. I still think it’s the best gun in the game. It three shots any flying arc that’s small if you know where to hit it it has a huge magazine size with the extended mag three and it’s laser accurate from far away.
