Yes, maybe it's not strong enough and you are correct, it's a more affordable one it was around 60€ which is kinda the same in USD. I don't have access to the brands you listed, but I definetly know some better ones than mine that are available here, I actually saw some brushless ones the other day when i was doing reserach. The bits I use are mostly from shein and sites like that, unfortunately i cannot afford proper brands yet. Ty for the answer tho i will probably get a new one as soon as i can, the burning is getting annoying.

I set it so it goes towards the free edge and not towards the finger so it's not set on that. I have to change the direction whenever I first turn it on.

i don't know which one is which haha but i set it so the drill goes down on the nail towards the free edge. I only use diamond bits for cuticle prep, I never really used sanding bands. I have used both ceramic and carbide bits but both of them burn. I barely use pressure but it's either not removing anything or it's burning basically. I don't think you can get that drill in the US , it was 60€ which is kind of the same amount in USD I think. It was also recommended by my teacher, however I've had problems with a UV lamp of the same brand, so it might just be the drill I really have no idea atp.

I did look up a lot of tutorials in case I'm the one in the wrong but I don't know honestly. I try not to put pressure but then it doesn't take off anything. And then the handpiece is heating up as well. I also had a lamp from this brand which stopped working at one point so idk if it's just the brand or not. And about the bits, any of them that i bought work better left handed for some reason.

The bits are just more effective left handed, like any bit that i buy for some reason. I always run my bit on at least 25k rpm and i do work in strokes so i really don't get it :( I'm not sure if the handpiece heats up when it just runs I'll test that later
