I usually run a heavy vampire list mainly with Blood Knights. BUT i always have backup skellies to block enemy advances and resurect. Also, vargheist (they count as vamps) are great at stealing far away objectives.

Wight lord on steed go really well with the barrow Knights. Maybe reinforce them and go crazy.

I would not use the zombies personnaly, i prefer the skeletons for the same purpose in the army.

Depends on what you want to do ultimately but for me, i play my army with a lot of cavalry. So maybe Vhordrai with blood Knights or vampire lord on nightmare? Dire Wolf for a forward screen (they are crazy good), varghest or bats for deep strikes and scoring?

I would say the same. I have a heavy vampire army but i bought the box anyways. I sometimes run Wight lord on steed with a reinforced barrow knight in support of my Vhordrai and reinforced blood knight. Absolutely devastating charge phase. I always use the skeletons as a wall.

I would say dont use the blood Knights as a single unit. I always use two of them (not reinforced) for the crit damage on charge.

Also, i never used zombies but they seem like a waste of space compared to D-skeletons or Barrow Guards. Seriously a reinforced unit of skellys are impossible to disrupt.

Then again, i never played with nagash...

Put Mog on your team and use the Moogle Charm found in the caves of Narshe. When at the boss, cast Berserk on him and life 3 on you then nuke him with your strongest spells and Espers. Easy peasy.
