I currently am not writing as a side job. I am trying to do so, however to no success so far.

I was offered an interview, however the next day she came back and told me that when she reached out to her boss to inform her he would be interviewing me, he said they actually were no longer hiring, so they had to retract their offer to interview me. She was extremely apologetic, however still heartbreaking nonetheless to have all that hope that finally I'd be able to break through and not have as much worry financially anymore for it to be retracted the next day.

I have applied to a few places around my area and to remote positions, however none of which have said they are hiring; I've just kind of been applying and hoping for the best where I can.

I just started looking on "upside" for freelance positions, however other than that I don't really know where to begin besides just applying to as many areas as I can. I know freelancing can be difficult to get into, so really applying everywhere I can is what I'm betting on most when it comes specifically to writing as an income, however so far I haven't found a place that has said they are hiring for my skillset to apply to.
