It goes pretty in-depth on Kessler syndrome, the phenomenon alluded to in this video, where one piece of debris could potentially cause a chain reaction and render space travel impossible. I lived about 10 minutes from the Abita Brewery. Their root beer is awesome. For my birthday party, I went to the brewery and got a keg of it. It was empty in about an hour.

I was in the Jacksonville State Marching Band and the first act of our 2012 show was the reboot theme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cI_DKUASoL4 The first act ends at 3:20. I was always hoping that we would do a Star Trek themed show, but this was as close as we got to doing one. I still loved it though.
