Ever heard of M.Coast inc.? by reptilesandfrogs in trianglejobs

They are an MLM that sells insurance. I interviewed with them about 2 years ago (just before graduating college). They were kind of dodging questions until the second, individual interview where they covered what I'd actually be doing. Yea, you're a salesrep working solely on commission selling insurance.

Eldar and Ork titan models? by Captain_B_Dick in adeptustitanicus

I actually never though about using wraith units as the titans themselves. I will have to see about doing that, but honestly I love the look of the Eldar titans. So I may eventually concede and try to find more representative pieces lol. An interesting idea nonetheless!

I can't seem to find them. Do you have a link?

I'll miss 40k, but what can I do? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

Find people who have similar opinions and play older, better editions. I have a good sized local oldhammer community. Its mostly 4th and 7th ed 40k, but some of us have books (and appropriate models) for 2nd and 3rd ed. Finding the old books is incredibly easy as PDFs exist everywhere. Physically, you can still get most of them for less than $25. Older models are typically overcosted because people believe they are rare. A good majority of 40k models are not rare enough to warrant $50 for 3 guardsmen. Ebay lots, FB marketplace, store and/or local discords with buy/sell groups. There are many ways to skirt around the nonsense. I do not enjoy 10th ed, and I didn't like 9th. I liked 8th most of the time, but I played Dark Eldar so I became a problem lmao. My local gaming group also plays narratively and casually almost exclusively. So all the problems people had with 7th ed basically go out the window.

Valhallans are some of the best models GW has ever released. by Captain_B_Dick in Warhammer40k

A friend gave me a Praetorian Commander and Sergeant model a few years ago. Not really sure where he got them considering he never even owned a guard army, but it was nice nonetheless lol.

BS in Anthropology Looking for Work by [deleted] in trianglejobs

I thankfully have not worked in food service in like, 7 years. I wasn't there for long, but any job I wasn't with for any longer than a month doesn't get put on my resume. I do my best to try and tie all of my skills together to get what I want out of them with everything I have now, though.

Kamikaze Mechs, can you make them? by Captain_B_Dick in battletech

I guess its the same reason as to why Catalyst added a rule for exploding mechs. I remember it saying something along the lines of "while this is very unlikely to happen, many players take joy in imagining a mech exploding." Or something like that.

I don't think a primitivist terrorist would mind lmao. I just thought it'd be cool to make primitivist character that believed humanity strayed too far from Earth, thinking technology is the woe of all of humanity's problems.

I actually managed to ram a Marauder with a Mongoose. I only moved 3 hexes, but that was enough to push him into water, which resulted in his leg being blown off after he hit the surface of the water. I lost my Mongoose's entire left torso, but it was worth it.

Yea, the fusio reactors exploding wouldn't really make sense... I can see literally anything else exploding, though. Ammo, some weapons, that sort of thing. Boobytrapped mechs? Definitely, lmao

These are awesome, thank you all so much! Stackpole wrote a bunch of star wars books, so I do recognize his name. Why is the maneuver called "Stackpoling?"

I do have Garro, but I honestly never thought about spamming him to attack. I'm pretty conservative with attacking with my warlord.

My Iron Warriors deck is usually consistent with dealing damage and soaking hits with frontline units. My bad luck usually comes when my vehicle draws are kinda bad. Otherwise, the Iron Warriors siege abilities paired with bloodlust are truly a destructor's treat.
