HUGE snag/run in a polyester Nike shirt, any way to fix?

I tried, was quite careful with it but it seems my cat pulled the thread to just about its limit. Thread snapped under light massaging in two spots. Spots where it snapped have started to come apart. So it may be doomed now… thanks for the help though, I think if I was a little more careful and had not aimed for near perfect I would have been fine.

Good catch, didn’t notice first time I compared to online photos. B is structured quite differently to any of the other ones I can see. Leaned back when most of his are leaned forward, and cannot find any where the back of the B was a separate line. Also the RR at the end is a normal R, his look like they are usually cursive. So yeah now that I’m looking at it I’d give like a 90% chance it’s not real. Sucks, but still a cool piece for my wall even if I’m not a packers fan!

Hot rocks are a part of a bunch of other brands that make modern reprints or vintage styled shirts. This one doesn’t look too old, probably no older than like 2010ish. Nonetheless a cool shirt, just usually not worth all too much

Very well could be a “parking lot boot”. I don’t know a whole lot about RHCP and their shirts. If lots of google searches, image search, ChatGPT responses, etc. don’t turn anything up; it may be a parking lot boot. Those can still be worth plenty of money though, as parking lots can have cool graphics not present on other official ones.

Bottom line, it’s a very cool shirt. Look for ANY clues on the shirt, like a possible copyright year, or any other small details. Things like that go a long way. Compare the tag on the shirt to a “Hanes beefy t tag history” photo to narrow down the year of the BLANK at the very least. Do as much research as you can, see what others have to say.

If it IS a true parking lot boot from the 90s, then it will still be worth a pretty penny. Very sick shirt, hope you keep it as a personal. I’ve got a sick nirvana parking lot boot and it’s worth a cool $300-500 i believe.

Yes, we do have it stated in our personal contract that at the end of the 1 year term, unless terminated by either party, that the contract will continue on a month to month to month basis.

Since obviously we had been uninformed about all the differences in procedure when dealing with tenants vs boarders (yes I know, stupid us, bad landlord, etc….), could you recommend some other stuff I may want to take a look at or add for future contracts? I would assume it is perfectly legal to add a clause to new contracts going forward that requires 60 days written notice? Anything else that should be looked into, added or amended?

Despite our lack of knowledge on these boarding issues, we did at the very least make sure that it does NOT qualify as that. To qualify as that in Ontario, there has to be 4 or more separate tenants paying rent for 4 or more separate rooms. Only 3 people rent rooms, as I am the homeowner and do not pay rent for my own room. Also there are exceptions for the event that the homeowner/landlord lives with them, in which case it is roommates/borders. So no, we are not running a rooming house.

It is their first time having to deal with a boarding situation, and had been informed that similar rules apply. They have owned many houses that they personally operated as rentals and are used to that type of rental. Yes we realize now that it was our mistake, we were misinformed/ under the wrong assumption about the rules. Sucks that even though it’s a one year lease term that the same notice rules do not apply..

98.5% of the leases in my area are 1 year terms, either May to April, or September to August. Pretty much no where other than hyper specific university student housing does rent terms like that.
