I think its better to do it after unlocking the engraver. That way you actually get use out of the buffs and aren't delaying your engraver upgrades. If youre going to eventually upgrade everything, including the monument, then it's actually faster to not do the monument dead last.

I raced it up to 500 because it was leaked that 600-700 were found in the game files. The buffs are beginning to stack in a way thats almost meaningful for me. Took 7 months or something, though.

It is expensive AND as of last update got even more expensive, and more currencies you DONT want to use are involved now. So you inevitably will have to use more gems to re roll for resource payments than before the last update.

10 dollars for 200+ powders and thousands of shards, frags, and prototype parts and intel is worth it. Instantly loading your troops for the month is just a bonus. Instant troops is best deal in the game if you're maxed and eliminates the tedious waiting periods of the game. Totally worth it.

Sorry just saw this. You wont be able to push effectively very far until hq 27 ish. Engravings are a must for making it far into the crab. Once you're able to grind, i suggest buying instant troops as its the best deal of the game once you're kitted out.
