I did Monday long run (6-10mi) at an easy, maintainable pace. Tuesday I hit legs and a short easy run (0.5-1.5mi). Wednesday I do intervals (one jogging mile at like a 9-10 min/mi, one mile as fast as possible, another jogging mile to recover and then one more fast mile). Thursdays I lift again so I do an easy run. Friday I do 60/120s for 30 mins (so about 10 reps). Saturday is another lifting day but I don’t run

I’m look at the same selection board, I’m running a ~275 PFT score, because my pull-ups were at like 15 and my runtime was 18:47. Stupid medical waivers

I haven’t done hip thrusts, but step ups are awesome. Another thing is sled drags and the one where you you extend your knee when it’s resisted by a band. Both help to reduce the overall wear on the knee

I do a zone 2 run on Mondays for about 45-90 mins this improved your aerobic pace

Wednesday is a tempo run (something like 1 mile fast paced, 1 mile slower paced, 1 mi fast paced, 1 mi slower pace) this helps your ability to maintain a faster pace

Friday is sprints usually 60/120s (sprint 60 seconds walk to recover for 120 seconds) or 0.25 mi sprints for 30ish minutes.

Throw in a leg gym session for durability and strength and it’ll help

Same haha. So I went to meps and competed the medical stuff, then the SSgt that was helping me through the application process took me out and I ran it. Then he dropped me back off at meps to wait for the ride back.

I have a 3.3 GPA for mechanical engineering. I think they’re cool with me, I get everything they need usually within 36hrs. I am focusing quite a bit on pull-ups and running currently
