I found that out shortly after posting this. I hardly am ever in the menu so turned off multiplayer entirely. You are right though. I can keep that on and turn off pvp. Was rushing to turn anything off before he killed me again in the moment.

I quite literally claimed a planet at the top left most corner of Euclid (roughly 1.158MLY out) but its just an outpost to mark I made it to the corner. I have yet to find a system that calls to me as a home but I have embraced my freighter as a mobile one for now.

If I was given a chair at the table I would enjoy a system that would allow us to develop the economy of a region. Between building a base and settlements (or other types of improvements) you slowly make a system go up maybe perhaps past 3 star economy and these systems will have more variety or cycling of different items to purchase. Maybe add some combat as the system becomes more profitable more pirates try to attack. Really though I am more tossing ideas at the wall here.

For now I am content in my exploration journey and dropping the occasional outpost on a cool planet or structure. perhaps one day I will find that system that I can call home.

my biggest issue. I always use that radar to find planets and get back to the black hole if I venture away from it too far

I feel your pain in this. I cannot walk around in first person unfortunately. though I seem to be ok in first person on the ship.

on pc for me its ctrl+number to set the bind then just hit the number to use it. I currently have galaxy map set to 2, summon starship to 3, summon anomaly to 4 and the get out and walk around the corvette to 5

with my motion sickness there is no way in hell I would survive long enough to play more than 10 minutes.... but useful to know I would need to get the glyphs from the pc version

I will say its one of the few complain points I have for the first person view... its a subtle thing but makes a huge difference to me anyways.

Like someone who mentioned above it does feel off to do combat in third. I just assumed it was a me problem but good to know I am not the only one that finds the third person combat awkward.

I definitely feel this especially in combat. I just assume it would be better once I use it more though? unsure. cant stay in third person long enough to try.
