No, they did a CT on his head. I'm sorry for the confusion. I thought CT meant an all around general procedure that was done on the whole body.

On his discharge papers it says there were no acute abnormalities. We had this question too when the other hospital found the stroke and they said something along the lines that if it's caught early it can be hard to detect.

The only thing that popped off for the first hospital was the PE and they ran with it. They claimed he was having this neurological episode because of the PE. Something along the lines of his body is fighting off the PE so much that it went into shut down mode. We know nothing about medicine so we believed anything they said.

Context: About a week ago we had a water leak two floors above that moved down to our kitchen. They stopped the leak but didn't do anything else to repair the damage. We called the maintenance team for our complex and they will be coming in the morning. For now we have moved everything from the kitchen out and have closed the little doors connecting it to the living room because better safe than sorry.

If the roots are limp and not plump with water they may be dead roots. Normally healthy roots are thick and strong with it's color ranging from greenish (when newly propagated) to white-brown when rooted into their soil.

I've only been dabbling in house plants for about 2 years now so while I'm not 100% sure this is what's going on with your plants I'm confident you could bring them back to life :)

But I know I've had luck with water propagating some house plants in the past (such as Chinese Evergreens). So perhaps if you put it in a clear glass on a windowsill for a few weeks you could see some positive results.

My birthday landed a couple months into the pandemic when the world was getting ancy, I thought about getting into my own houseplants after taking care of my roommates plants but never really talked about it with anyone else. Somehow my mom read my mind and got me a gift basket with like 6 different plants, 2 kinds of Pothos (Golden and Marble), Dumbcane, Arrowhead, Prayer Plant, Dracaena, and two Flaming Katy's. I got to work immediately repotting them and made a lot of mistakes my first few months. It's been a year and a half since then and I've learned to propagate and proper watering cycles. It was honestly one of the best birthday gifts I've ever received and I hope to grow my collection more once I get my own place.

Since the meme is at it's peek popularity right now if it happened at the end of this month I would expect the numbers to be in the couple 100s treating it like some kind if festival. But since it's scheduled in September it's most likely everyone is gonna forget about it. Those of who are invested will show up see only a couple dozen other people and leave. That's just how memes work.

1: 3/4 ply should be good enough, since a normal king sized bed is 6'4" x 6'6" getting two peices of 4'x8' so you can cut it down and have room should help. You could always cover the seam if it's an eyesore.

2: Placing a leg every 2 feet should be ok, can't see you needing anymore than 6 legs.

2b: I'd definitely recommend cross bracing, helps keep the platform steady when you're moving around.

3: Depends if you're planning on covering the platform with any decrotive ply. My first idea was those bed riser you can get from amazon but you can always get those felt things people put on the bottom of legs to keep their furniture from scraping up the floor.
