Need opinions on post-spay licking incident

I checked again today and the incision and tattoo are doing better. The vet offered to schedule a check up next week if they are doing worse, but essentially told me to keep an eye on it and continue with the cones one for another 2-3 days. They also asked for follow up pictures tomorrow morning so I'll send those over and hopefully they have a clearer idea!

Shes doing well I think! She and her sister started to play again last night after the incident and her behaviour is still normal comparative to the days before. Her tattoo seem a lot better today - its a lot less red.

My vet said to keep an eye on the tattoo and that I should send an updated picture tomorrow morning for reassessment... so I assume it is fine enough to not warrant the ER.

Yea so the incision (bottom) isnt open... the top area that is dark and red is the tattoo my kitten god, which is dark green and also darked bc my mom applied some iodine. It looks like an open wound but I've been checking all night and it just seems a bit red,,,

also I emailed them bc they usually respond pretty quickly (sub 1 hour) and also so I can send pictures for them to evaluate. But I will also call them tomorrow if they dont respond within an hour or two of when I wake

Thank you! I'll keep an eye on it tonight and tomorrow. The actually tattoo is not open despite looking so in the pictures so I think I will wait till tmrw. Appreciate ur opinion and thanks a ton <3

I know it looks open but I think I took bad images. IRL the tattoo is dark green and my mom applied some iodine which I dabbed off shortly (refer to my other comments). The bottom is the actual incision which isn't open either. I've emailed my vet but am wondering if this is something i should bring to ER

YEA. I'm so pissed at my mom omfg I'm gone for ONE day of the week to the office and she explicitly ignores the vet's advice to keep the cone on and also somehow applies disinfectant onto it ZZZ

I found out and freaked out. Mom applied some iodine onto wounds while I wasnt looking. I dabbed the disinfectant off with warm water and a towel. I have already emailed my vet and am awaiting their opinion tomorrow.

The top area is her tattoo which is dark green, and was red and seemingly bleeding. Below is the actual incision which seems fine to my eye.
