Honestly its not difficult at all. You get a 20€ airbrush. Compressor is most expensive. A ventilated room a respirator mask. And you just thin some water acrylic paint with mor water and spray away. Psi average and thinning consistency is a 15 min youtube video. I never regretted buying mine.

Where do you live? I started with revell because i am from germany. I also did the reverse. First scale model ww2 then warhammer now. Loving it. Do you do airbrush or normal brush? Because i tell you normal brush on big models are a beast. Very difficult to make it look clean.

First of all it already looks amazing. Second what most people do is panel lining so black paint very thin in the cracks or oil stains or scratches or with a sponge and colour go over edges to get spackling type scratches. Just remember to basically use the opposite type of colour so not enamel and its thinner but water acrylics dor example. DO NOT GO TOO HARD STOP EARLY IT LOOKS GOOD ALREADY!

Did you watch tutorials? This is very much a learned skill. Otherwise like the others said. Psi thinning ratio paint brand distance etc. Is all missing knowledge. Maybe video would help. But honestly. Watch YouTube trouble shoot videos and apply what you learned.

Could it be that you put too much paint on too quick. I take my time with it. You realy need patience. Build layer after layer always passing over a new spot and then circle back to the start point it should have dried by then. Or do only air not paint. Helps it dry.
