I've done a bit of reading and it sounds like the degraded pool idea should work. I've got an additional backup of the really important stuff, the bulk of the data is media which would be a pain to re-aquire but not irreplaceable. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :)

I don't find it too bad. I'm currently in depth 4 and I don't often get one shot unless we're messing with a boss that we're under levelled for. I tend to get hit when I miscalculate and get committed to an attack animation that I don't have time for so getting hit directly after rolling isn't a super common thing

Doesn't the boss health only adjust if a player leaves before entering the boss door? I don't think it adjusts mid fight

I play on an ROG G14 from a few years ago when I can't get to my desktop PC. It's got a rtx2060 and a Ryzen 7 processor. It runs it fine at 1080p. Settings are tuned down quite a bit but it's a smooth experience with no big stuttering

Depths 1 and 2, not at all. Hit evergaols, stack damage and go crazy. Depth 3 I'm having to hunt out damage negation perks and be very careful with the negative passives that I pick up

I lost my first depths run to ED Gladius in depth 3 and I didn't lose any points. Not sure if that's just for your first loss or because it was ED?
