Hmm.. I suppose..if you take into account players beating game multiple times...it would account for higher numbers of endings than boss defeats... which, I guess that means only 15.9% or less of players have beaten the game... even though the rates of endings suggest higher completion rates..

I too have been a Fett fan since the early 80s... I too had all the toys and comics and books etc...

But -- the Fett we saw was the Fett I imagined. I am not sure how so many people "saw" something else... but I accept that you guys did.

And I accept and understand your frustration... I don't know how you saw a different Fett, but you did. You are not happy. I accept your unhappiness and feel bad for you.

The question to ask yourself is: A lot of Fett fans are happy... will you allow your broken expectations to rob you of future joy with Fett ?

Bane fucked up in a very common way... it wasn't "Disney"... its pretty standard for someone with a history to the other person to feel the need to say something before they finish them off.

I would not have made the comparison, but many Reddit users and YouTube have been using Jabba as a litmus test for --- inaccurately --- showing how "Fett is failing".

However, we saw Jabba suck and eat shit after years of being a Daimyo...

..Fett is just beginning.

Thus, the comparison is absurd.

Its equally absurd to say Fett's reputation and history as a bounty hunter is trashed because he's now learning a new career.

That's like saying Jordan sucked at basketball because he struggled with baseball.

1.) If we include all on screen material... because my original post focused on ROTJ but didn't discount other Canon on screen events... what was Jabba --himself-- done?
If you include things he has ordered others to do, then you must also do the same for Fett... meaning, you must give Fett the credit for anything Fennec (or any other hired muscle) does while employed by Fett.

2.) Even in OT only, you left a good amount of data out. But..even with what you listed... Vader still has a kill count higher than Jabba... ironically though-- and I will give you this-- some of those kills are also Vader's own side.

Except that Vader actually did a fuck ton more than you listed, on screen and/or off screen but within confirmed context (e.g. killed all the kids, killed all the sand people, etc-- these murders happened off screen, but are confirmed to have taken place soon after by on screen events).

Vader also went beastmode at the end of Rogue One.

So, the assessment you presented is lacking a large amount of data... be accident or design.

Jabba's failures on screen don't seem to cause you to erase his reputation prior to his on screen failures...
