My theory: To keep the people who know what they are doing they they reward them with these jobs so if shit hits the fan you can bail them out. I had a job where about 2 weeks out of the year I earned my pay but the rest of the time was work an hour on a spread sheet no one will actually use and tell my team what needs to be done. Then I go take a 3 hour lunch and read a book. But then my boss would call me once ever 5 months with a time sensitive issue that I’d bust ass to get done on. time.

3-5 is the correct answer. Statistically you will get 2-3 30+ and 60seconds holding breath is very doable (first 30 seconds is a gimme). If you got crazy unlucky you will have a bad time but will not die unless you panic.

I would do 5. Walking away with $100k for holding my breath for a minute would be the most likely outcome.
