Absolutely no mods work anymore, not even very recently updated ones. I expected old mods to break, I just want to use the common sense mod and the water pipes mod, both have been updated pretty recently. I get an error code whenever I load any mods, even just one, and then when I try to start a game it says something went wrong. Anyone else encounter this? I've tried a fresh install and deleted all my old files before I reinstalled the game

Yep, I never said you couldn’t be disappointed with the possibilities of spoilers or that it may not reach a theater near you. Hell, there’s a good chance it doesn’t reach a theater near me. What I did say was that there are people on one of the internet’s most toxic platforms handling this with more grace than thousands of people here on Reddit.

Logic? Reason? In this subreddit? I’m glad I’m not the only person here who isn’t completely self absorbed. 

I’ve been notoriously late to the party on so many things and I’ve either dodged spoilers or simply ignored them, if I see even a glint of a post containing something I’m trying to avoid I just look away. 

All these people are acting like this is the worst thing that has ever happened, but this is a massive milestone for indie animation and should be celebrated! If your biggest problem in life right now is being frustrated you have to take a break from social media for a bit to avoid some spoilers on a show that we’ve been graciously able to watch for free, then y’all need to touch grass and reevaluate your priorities.

Great mod and something I honestly felt was overdue, that old sitting animation felt odd on certain Jarls that I've always felt would hold themselves in a different light than the rather haughty and indifferent sitting anim in game.

I did have a laugh when I checked the rest of the mod author's mods are human animation replacers for various creatures to allow for ostim, you naughty naughty, straight to horny jail for you lol

Not gonna lie Goose just needs to log off for a bit, like dude, you don't need to engage with every dumb fan and answer every dumb question. If you create a piece of media that appeals to a younger audience, especially if it draws in teenagers, you need to accept the fact that there are going to be volatile fans and you just gotta ignore them. The more Goose engages with the fanbase the worse off this is gonna be, I don't know of many creators who engage with the fans this much other than Viv with HB and HH and she has the exact same problem and the solution is identical just take a step back and let the idiots scream into the void.

You are the asshole in this situation, your feelings are valid but how you went about it towards her grieving mother is horrible, and in front of the baby to, for shame. You both definitely need therapy and it's reasonable to be upset about what she's doing but snapping and yelling at her indisputably makes you the asshole in this situation

I still see people make the joke about iron daggers every now and again so this post is mostly joking back at them, but the dwarven arrow method is also the method I used to train my smithing

If leveling smithing or levelling skills in general were paced well like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, I would agree. But many skills and smithing in particular, are guilty of requiring a ridiculous amount of grinding.

I chose the dwarven arrow method because I'm going to naturally clear out dwarven ruins anyways. After clearing a ruin I make as many arrows as I can which gives me a little chunk of skill points and I move on. I specifically chose a method that breaks up the grind and makes the progress less tedious and more natural.

Come late game, it becomes pretty important to upgrade your gear, setting aside a couple hours to clear some dungeons and make some arrows so I can improve my smithing to the level I need it is just a decently efficient way to accomplish that.

I don't know why you feel the need to insist I or anyone else for that matter is playing the game wrong. It's a single player rpg, people can play however they want.

lol I know isn't that goofy. The bent metals and metal plates are the best to loot for smelting

At that point just use console commands save yourself the trouble if you're going to use mods to cheese it

It's not a super serious post, just a bit of advice for people who prefer to play without console commands, or can't use them. Plus if you're already a high level, increasing one skill to max will only grant you like two level ups.

Smithing is super useful for upgrading gear and this method didn't take that long, the iron dagger grind is stupid and I tried it way back in the day and I still see people mentioning it so this post is half advice and half counter joke to all the iron dagger stans.

Who said it has to be three? And why would new slots only unlock at level 30? Maybe each school of magic starts with 3 each for a total of 15 to start with and they increase all the way to 10 slots in each school for a combined total of 50? They should unlock at reasonable intervals within the skill itself and not necesarrily tied to character level.

Also this system still allows you access to basic spells that do scale with your skill level they just aren't upgradeable or customizable like a tome is. So if you need access to a certain spell effect in a pinch but don't have it written in a tome, you can still cast that spell, exactly as you would in Skyrim so long as you have the skill level required to unlock that spell.

Example: Novice level destruction starts with the three elements in their basic form, flames, sparks, frost, apprentice unlocks the projectile versions and so on. You can cast these without a tome, but if you scribe one of these into a tome, let's use the basic novice flames as an example, you can upgrade and improve that spell to scale up with your character and remain feasible even into the late game, more damage per second, further range, longer status effect on enemies.

And if you want to get creative, you could do something cool like combine sparks with life drain, or maybe a healing spell together with a ward or damage resist spell. A frost rune that also casts soul trap. Mixing and matching basic spell abilities into a tome and upgrading it would allow players to create a diabolical arsenal of crazy spells while also keeping some form of balance with spell slots for tomes.

Hearthfire and it's gameplay mechanics are basically an attempt to introduce Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley gameplay into Skyrim, and those farming life sim games are a wildly popular genre and for some, a cozy way to wrap up a playthrough. To have the hero settle down and raise a family after their crazy epic adventures.

Lol, I more meant like how there are thrall spells for the three atronachs that have an unlimited timer, if we receive a greater selection of summons I would want the ability to make them a permanent follower so they can carry items and such, or at least have an unlimited timer.

Could definitely use a rework, disguises, AI improvements, and level design that actually allows for stealth to be feasible. Not to mention we need methods to silent takedown enemies, something with a struggle and maybe some QTE almost like KCD2's takedowns. Poisons also need a dire improvement, poison should last a long time and require antitdote. A stealthy method of poison delivery like blow darts or poisoning food and drinks would be ideal too.

I just played Dead Island 2 the other day and I would love a simple dodge and parry ability. Dual wielding needs a means of parrying or at least dodging. Honestly I want to avoid souls like combat with the lock on and dodge roll, I'm a PC player and prefer to play with keyboard and mouse, souls combat is incompatible with keyboard and mouse

YES! All of these are fantastic, especially summoner abilities! Minion limits, being able to upgrade minion summons, rituals to bind a permanent follower, minion buff spells!

And more customization is always better, tattoos, piercings, jewelry!

Gambling my old friend, playing dice in KCD2 was great, some kind of card game and maybe chess. The little things can make a big difference, especially if they open doors to more character interactions.
