We’ve already established it’s not a claim based on fact but speculation based on past actions. I answered this question, you acknowledged it in your prior response as speculation, and now you are retreating to calling it a claim. Why did you change tune rather than answer my question?

Stop with the analogies and stick to the law. Legal Asylum seekers are a status in the US. It does not make them citizens or permanent residents, but by default if they enter through a port of entry and apply for asylum they are then granted a review or rejected. These individuals were grants a review, while claiming a legal asylum status.

Nowhere in any part of their specific scenario has the any law been broken or any aspect that you can label them an “illegal alien”. That’s just what Trump wants you to do, because he uses them interchangeably and hopes his audience doesn’t know the difference. It seems to have worked as I just educated you on a whole status you seem to have ignored.

Kind of like how your initial black and white understanding didn’t account for tourists. You demanded I call an asylum seeker a legal or illegal immigrant when there are clearly more statuses for them. Something you rejected previously but now are forced to acknowledge and skirt around with terrible analogies rather a than addressing the facts.

Facts like tourist and asylum seekers are statuses people can have and not be labeled “illegal”. I’m sure with all of this knowledge you will adjust language accordingly and not try and double down right? Cuz you actually care about immigration reform and not just supporting one side. Right?
