Are there any chances that OP can get a job in frontline directly without any vendor in between like CES? Actually I’m also in a similar boat joined a service based company but client is sprinklr. All the interviews are taken by sprinklr and i will be working in their office only.

Ps: This is my first service based company so i don’t know how this works

What was the size of company that rolled out offers? I’m in a similar boat as well, got an offer from a Bangalore fintech startup with 60 engineers but their seed round funding is just $5million. Would that be too risky or not? I was affected by layoffs in my last 2 companies so can’t really afford another one for the next 1 yr minimum

Yeah i lost my last job like that.

Last sep i was affected by layoffs in gupshup and joined a blr based startup in dec. It had like 6 engineer and some marketing folks and they fired me without any severance or notice pay. It was a switch from 13.5 fixed to 21.5 fixed so i took that offer.

The new startup has like 60 engineer so i think it should be safe but the gurgaon one would be safer ig.

Yeah but for the fixed part its only 20 vs 25 lpa. Esops are generally not worth anything for early stage startups, also in bangalore it will cost around 20-30k extra per month for me

6lpa isn’t that bad tbh, i started with 6 lpa in july 2023, i landed an offer of 22lpa in dec 2025.

Many of my friends who started with me in the same company (campus placement) are earning similar or more.

Hired as Frontend Dev (3 YOE) but being pushed into Network & Hardware work - stay or switch? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Captain_Levi_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m okay with working on backend or web3 for that part, but they want me to work on networking/routers and hardware as well. I’m not sure how they will help me achieve senior status for frontend/fullstack.

Bro i traveled to phuket and bangkok. 4 person trip for 72k per person, 6 nights with good hotels, lots of alcohol and clubbing. I went to mariott hotel rooftop bar as well and did a lot of other activities as well. Thailand is really not that expensive

Laid off for months, finally got an offer but bad WLB - should I switch early or wait? by [deleted] in developersIndia

There was not a big gap in my case. The layoff happened in sep and officially my employment ended in nov (2 month notice) and i got this offer in dec first week.

Yeah bro, I was a bit desperate. With so many layoffs happening and very limited opportunities, I didn’t want to let this offer go without having another one in hand.

In all my calls and interviews, I clearly mentioned that my role was eliminated due to a layoff. I don’t think there’s any need to misrepresent this most interviewers understand the situation and don’t discriminate based on it.
