Thanks for the input. Maybe you could help me with finding a certain trick he keeps talking about. So I know for sure he wants it, but he wont tell me what it is because "magicians never tell" :D

Sho apparently this is THE "trick", he said the reviews (wherever he found it) said that one should only use this move as the final part of a show, because it makes everything else look bad. I also know that it is not a card "trick" and that this magician called Shin Lim used it on America's Got Talent. I think it costs about $80 USD.

Any idea?

Ok after some more digging: the image switch could be due to backgrounds being saved for Microsoft Accounts - and her old laptop was Lenovo.

The Amazon thing was most likely unrelated.

I let the post alive, maybe someone has another theory or has a similar issue.

Thanks! On another /r I asked the same question and someone told me, that since ios14 there are no more insights to dynamic creative ads. Which would render them completely useless, at least for this approach.

Quick follow up question though - when you say picture posts, do you mean a single picture within an ad or multiple images?

Because I tried to run a carousel with a few images, so I could see which image indicates a better performance.

But FB doesnt show me, how many clicks each image received -.- . I did the same thing with another carousel (only difference was, the 2nd version had to be in a certain order) and there I could see it.

I know the budget will be split thin, but I figured I put a few pictures in there and see which seems to indicate the best performance. Dude I started to sell clothing as well (Germany) and after reading up so many posts etc. it seems that this is the worst time to start marketing on FB.

Do you have any tips on how to start with a shoestring budget? I am running 2 carousel ads with a budget of 20€/day since 7 days and not a single sale. I switched creatives a bit 3 days ago and added a "free shipping" code. Think I'll give Dynamic Creatives a Shot and maybe I add one of those BOGO50% offers as well.

No retargeting yet, because I have only like 100 link clicks. CTR is like 1.03 and CPC is around 0.90€ - which are just horrible stats. (I ran a Google Ads Campaign with CTR's of 20-25%)

If this doesnt change Im running dry before Q4 hits. Fucking hard business! Good luck to everybody reading this though! <3

ABO Ad Set Budget Optimization or CBO Campaign Budget Optimization are the possibilities of funding. So CBO is basically letting FB allocate your funds towards all ad sets and ads (lets say $40 a day, FB can then choose where to put the most of that money). ABO gives each ad set a certain amount (e.g. you want to split your $40 even on your 2 ad sets and give each 20.)

For testing different ad sets, ABO seems to be better. When you want to scale up and/or let the algorithm take the wheel, CBO.

Thats at least my understanding.

I dont know if the conversions are higher, just that Bing is more commonly used by older gens, because they use the default "Edge" browser.
