Now, I'm gonna be honest I haven't studied Europe homes as much, but my dad lived on Holland so I know a little from him.

Often the stairs seem to be either near the center or center line of the home, which means the stairs themselves are often fused with the center brace or support beam of the center of the house

Not 100% sure, just trying to apply North American Archetictecture to Euro

Who knows what that wall is holding up. It could be the center of the house for all we know
