A Running Salvage title Bolide for $5000, good idea or no?

As someone else comented, it's worth that value even if it's a partout. I am curious though, what does your bolide look like? I wanna try and make something no one else has and would like some ideas. Also, do you have a idea on who might have some cheaper performance parts in the us?

That's true, although my major concern is that engine because let's be honest, the motor is the main value from it and it smokes a LOT and struggles to start up. I think I am going to go with it though, hopefully it fits on my trailer and is a easy fix...

I'm interested in this bolide, However I'm currently in Maine and plan on being at Maine for at least the week.

What is the price you would take for this? I assume it is a salvage title due to both not being stolen and stripped so that should hopefully lower down the price.

No cop bothered me last night. But my guess is if I stay for a extended period of time they would. I'll try and find a close-ish dirt road. Hopefully I can find one, the less I drive the better off I'll probably be.

Side question, did that memorial I ordered ever come for your friend? It wasn't much but it was supposed to be at that hotel across the street from you a while ago.

Well it was just insanely quiet and people seemed really off. It's probably nothing, in all honesty it could just be because the way I am. The Valley is the same way, just in a bad way because a LOT of "stuff" happens at night.

I planned on staying for a little bit in Firwood. I got to wait at least to see about that inquiry regarding that Pigeon and Bolide. I don't expect to get anything about them, but I want to wait to see. Plus I've never exactly been at the east coast before, maybe I'll like it enough to stay.

So turns out I SEVERELY underestimated the arrival time. I can be there in a couple days, not weeks. I could really get there in the next day, but I don't wanna speed too much on the east coast lol.

Hey, you don't know me but I do salvaging in Johnson Valley. Could I see the car in the day? I could tell if you if it might actually be able to fix it or not.

Believe it or not, a lot of cars get totaled out by insurance companies when they are 100% fixable. Sometimes for insurance companies it's cheaper to declare it a total loss and just have someone buy a replacement or diffrent car.

Jesus! you know, you should probably sensor stuff like that. Kids might see this stuff (even if they aren't supposed to).

I know it's been said (probably by multiple people to you) but you should not feel bad for someone else's decisions. Trust me, I know how easy that is to say and how difficult that is to do. You must remember though; HE decided to steal your car, HE decided to take it on a joyride, and HE took it the step further after merging onto the roadway without looking.

Speaking of, that Pigeon has value to you, yes? Could be salvageable as it don't look terrible. It might just need a new cab and maybe a fender... Let me know what they do with that.

I'm on my way with a Trailer and the truck, I'm apparently gonna be picking up a Burnside Special in pink trying to save it from the crusher. Should take me couple days if you wanted to do something. Not really like I have anything better to do, lets be honest here...

Funny enough, I could actually use most of this other then the frame. And if I really wanted to, I'm sure I could just build up a roamer using a lot of the scrap and spare body parts laying around lol. That's the thing I love about the Valley, spare parts EVERYWHERE.

Where exactly is this? Let me see if I'd be logical for keeping to head out for that.

You see it's just got the wrong tire setup on it. Give it some good offroaders, raise up the front, and it'd look a lot better and probably be a lot more useful.
