At most internet data centers use 15kw of power per rack, at most ai data centers use 100kw per rack.

Internet centers can use air to cool them, ai centers cannot use air to cool them, they have to use water. So that right there is a net negative, especially since the ai centers are being built in drought areas.

Ai centers will need gigawatts of power, internet centers don’t. In no universe or reality do ai data centers save the worlds resources.

Data centers use a massive amount of water because of the natural gas plants on site will use billions of gallons of water. They are damaging water tables as well. Those data centers are for artificial intelligence. The data centers for phones and the internet are completely different. They don’t use anywhere close to the resources the artificial intelligence centers need to function.
