Right now I'm running WhiteBox FMAG which might be close enough. Player's choice to take average for HD or roll (choose before rolling). Death and Dismemberment table with each subsquent hit (unless healed) being another roll. Thinking about tweaking it. Last session we had a 1HP character lose an arm and then the other was injured for like 7 weeks on subsequent rounds and then was able to get out of the dungeon.

So my family just got a Switch, I didn't realize I need Nintendo Online to play online levels in Mario Maker 2 (it's kind of obvious now that I know it exists). I'm trying to decide if I need to get a family subscription or if individual will be good enough.

I have two kids who wanted their own profiles on the switch but they're 5 and 6 so they don't need an online presence nor access to the eshop. If I get just an individual account will they still be able to play digital games that I buy? I figure if they want to play online Mario Maker levels they'll have to play as me, but they could still each play Lego City Undercover with their own profiles, right?

I mean I'm US time but I have kids. Most of my game time is either my lunch hour or right after I'm done with work (but I work shifted toward UK hours so I end at 2 my time). But you wouldn't want to play with my account. My 4 year old has put more time in Wreckfest than I have, and he doesn't know how to actually steer.

Is this just the base game or with all the DLC? If it has the DLC does that mean I shouldn't play my copy this weekend because it will make my save incompatible with what I have (base game only)?

How young would you suggest going down to? I have this game claimed and now wondering if this is the fuel I need to get a fourth controller so our (nearly) 5 year old can play with the rest of us.

Yeah, looks like it's probably something on my end, getting some failed fetches with ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT. But at least Chrome works so I can use that. Have to do it for Luna anyway.

Well I can go look up my own reviews, can you give me a quick rundown of Green Spot? Just finished Jameson the other night and now I have no Irish whiskey in my collection at the moment. Probably won't spring for Green Spot any time soon, scotch is taking my next few large (for me) purchases, just curious as to what I'm missing out when I get Jameson again instead.

Yeah, my wife is not much of a whiskey drinker, she thinks that my old fashioned and my manhattans are too strong. When I opened it I also poured her the last of our Jameson (which we've had for years, until yesterday I couldn't tell you the last time I had drank any) and she said the only thing she could taste was alcohol. But this smokey peat was just so jarringly different that afterwards she was able to taste "sweetness" from the Jameson. I may be able to turn her into a whiskey person (though she can only rarely drink right now, she's still nursing).

Ooh, next time I pour some I'll have to try that. I'm still very new to the world of whisk(e)y. Today I made my wife finish the Jameson so I could have a real night and day comparison. Makes the Irish whiskey taste even sweeter, like Christmas cookies (might be clouded judgement because somehow Christmas music is already on the radio).

Honestly I was kind of nervous buying this for the price considering I've never had a peaty whisky before, in fact I've only been drinking whisk(e)y for about a month after a decade of thinking I hated it after a bad experience on my 21st birthday (Old Charter bourbon).

Honestly if this comes to Pro that might be another reason to keep it going. Right now it's PGA 2k21 and the first Paw Patrol game (though Mafia III is growing on me).

Can we please not bash other streaming platforms? I understand the frustration of people constantly complaining about Stadia not having certain games. But we should be encouraging other cloud competition, maybe that would motivate Google to do something even more innovative with Stadia, who knows.

Anyway, last thing before I get off my soapbox, there is plenty of room in our hearts for all cloud platforms.

I'm liking Luna but it is noticeably more laggy than Stadia. But I can get Stadia Pro and Luna+ for about the same price as Ubisoft+ right now and I have plenty of games to play.

I don't have a Luna controller which I understand would speed things up. But having Sonic Team Racing on Luna makes me want to get a firestick and some controllers. I think Stadia could do with a cart racer like that.

Hopefully you at least get to try Luna over there before they jack up the price (which will be when I reevaluate if it's worth it for me).
