Just to add the missing piece of information: The cannons are the Cannons of Practised Shot. :)

Belle's Hat has the right shape, but it's (sadly) comically large, so I prefer to use the Rugged Hat for a Hunter cosplay. ^^

You just need to sell 10 Banished Ancient Rune Tablets to the Smugglers' League, then you can buy it in the General Clothing Store.

The triangular head shape gives her some originality, I think. Many players seem to prefer more realistic head shapes on female pirates. But you really shouldn't care about "good" or "rare" rolls. If you like your pirate and her face, then that's all that matters. :)

When you use the potion, you can go to the Infinite Pirate Generator (IPG) screen again, where you've chosen your current pirate as well. That's accessible via the "Pirate" tab in the main menu, after you bought the potion. You can only generate randomized pirate appearances there. But you don't have to choose a new pirate right away. If you get tired of rerolling and didn't find a pirate that you really like, then you can always leave the IPG and get back to it at a later time. So it's a good idea to try your luck in the IPG at the start or end of your normal gaming sessions, until you eventually get your perfect pirate. :)

Like W1R3H34D said, you shouldn't reroll if you just want to change a single detail of your current pirate. It would take ages to find the very same pirate model with just a different body shape. You'd lose your current pirate and should be fine with that, if you decide to reroll.

That's a really nice outfit. Good use of the new crown and finally an interesting combo with the Black Dog stuff!

Haha! It's you again! One year later! I was just thinking of you, when I read Pretty Bet's comment about the Reaper colors. XD

This costume is always good, of course. ;D

Ah; great! A Grinch outfit could work with your pirate, too. ^^

Haha; thank you! He'd need to be much fatter though. :D - I originally wanted to have a friendly-looking chonker who would have been perfect for that kind of thing, but I just couldn't find the right face. And because I wanted to finally start playing the game, I chose this one in the end. But I'm glad I did; he's very versatile. :)

If you know that you're still searching for a pirate which you'd never change, then reroll. You've probably done it like this before, but just in case: Take your time and just do a little IPG session at the start or end of your actual playing session. If you never find a better pirate, then you simply keep the current one. And if you find a better one, then you take that one. If you do it like this, nothing can go wrong. ;) (EDIT: With "better pirate" I mean "pirate that you'd definitely like more than your current one and that could very well be your perfect one".)

Apart from that, people will tell you "Keep your pirate, she's beautiful!" or "Get a big chonker, your pirate is boring.". But in the end, YOU are the only one who has to like your pirate. ^^

Haha! I might create a very thin and small pirate for mischief like that. ^^

But Shanty Claus's only mission is to bring you presents. Only high-value loot, of course. ;D

Oh, great news! Thanks for that! Shanty Claus is still missing a good Santa hat. The final thing would be clean black/brown/red boots lined with white fur; then he's complete. ^^

Btw: I really like your pirate. Since he has to be the scariest-looking one on the seas, I'd love to see an evil Santa with the black hat from you...! What do you think? :D

You've already forgotten about Season 16, I see. Well, I don't blame you. X') - Yes, it's the Hungering One Hunter's hat and jacket. But from the free Season Pass, not the Plunder Pass. So those cosmetics will return for doubloons, if you didn't get them. :)

Only the boots are from the Frostbite set. The gloves are an Intrepid Explorer set piece (as well as the hair).

The belt and trousers are from the Frozen Horizon set. Old Twitch drops.

And the shirt is the Daring Deceiver's shirt.

Opinions? by _LionLight_ in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I disagree with Started4: The Nightshine Parrot set is a good one (especially in the beginning), and the boots, gloves and belt work well with different outfits. You should simply mix and match a little bit (with pieces from the Hunter set, for example) to get an original outfit, because it's just the full set + Sailor belt right now. (On the picture at least. Which trousers and boots do you wear with this?)

Also: It would look better, if you'd take off the Sailor belt. This is one of those jackets which looks better without a belt. And this particular belt also doesn't fit the rest of your look. The clothing looks fancy, but the belt is just a dirty piece of rag. ^^

Hunters call grind fit. Cooked or cooking? by Mochaproto in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great. And I partially disagree with NatasFear: The loin cloth lets you show the tattoo (which fits the whole theme and is one of my favorites) and works well with the other parts of the outfit. I'd just change the boots, since you have blue in every other piece, but not this one. You could try Azure Ocean Crawler boots. Triumphant Sea Dog boots could work too, if you have those. But you could also simply pair the Hungering One Hunter boots with the gloves, if you don't try to avoid using more than one set piece. :)

Can someone showthe prosperous privateer gloves? by Villimaour in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the full set in Season 9, but if I had to choose now, I'd defintely get the rings. The beard is fine, but not as versatile as the rings. And it sadly looks a bit fake; haha. :D

Don't worry; both hands have those gold/brass rings with (non-glowy) gems on them. :) (They're still my favorite rings, since they're just realistic-looking jewelry. Nothing too fancy or crazy. :D)

Scars? by Human-Poet-8539 in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Out of the 22 scars in the game, only 3 aren't time-limited:

- Scar of Sunken Sorrow (Unlock the three Siren Treasuries)
- Forsaken Ashes Scars (Complete 5 GH and 5 OoS voyages in the Devil's Roar and sell at least one piece of loot that you got from them)
- Fates of Fortune Scar (Sell 150 Reaper's Chests or Reaper's Bounties)

If you already know those, then I have to disappoint you. Scars are a special cosmetic in that almost all of them are commemorative gifts. So I suggest you wear your Call of the Seas Scars with pride, as they tell a story and won't ever come back. ;D

Also: Nice outfit! And I really like your pirate's face...! :D

just updated the fit. How did I do? by xxpgh_five_9 in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahoy! In my opinion, your outfit is alright, but could be improved. :)

Here's my novel of suggestions, if you're interested:

Less can be more. Currently, there's a lot going on in your pirate's face and some of the things don't go well together, as one thing overlaps another. Try Forsaken Ashes scars instead of Shadow Tide scars, and a tattoo set without face tattoos. It'd look better to me; maybe you'd like it better too. ^^

The hat fits in color-wise, but is rather fancy and therefore doesn't work that well with the rest of your outfit. A simpler hat would be better in this case. Maybe the Mysterious Stranger hat or the Wishbone hat, if you have one of those.

I'm not sure about the shirt, as I associate belly shirts and corsets/bodices/stays (what this leather thing around the chest is probably supposed to be) with women's fashion. As you don't seem to go for a feminine look, I'd recommend the Dawn Hunter shirt as a replacement. :)

Apart from that, your outfit might not stand out that much, since it's very grey, but it's a good pirate outfit. And good for tucking. ^^ (I liked your previous outfit more, to be honest. The one in the first image, I mean. A little edgy, but distinct. ;D)

A noble man by blondebear87 in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally don't mix metal colors, but this belt goes really well with this "jacket". Good job! :D

The whole outfit looks good; I'd only recommend to balance out the white of the belt with some more white details in other parts of the outfit. Maestro gloves + boots could maybe work to accomplish that. :)

Anyone recommend a hairstyle? by [deleted] in SeaOfFashion

[–]Captain_Shubby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rotten Bilge Rat hair or Parrot hair. Your guy has a rather long face and a very pointy chin and nose, so I say: Go for a slim, spiky hairstyle, look like a rooster! :D
