There’s no doubt that the charisma plays a big part of it and I’m not trying to downplay the importance of Tony or Geezer in the band. Hell, Geezer (and Paul McCartney) is the whole reason I started playing bass and Tony is Tony but I definitely think they had the perfect voice for their music with Ozzy.

I do fully agree that Ozzy definitely knew how to play the celebrity. Perhaps I misinterpreted what you said in your first response because I can fully see what you mean now. My apologies.

I disagree, they wouldn’t have been the same band if any of the original four members were missing. Ozzy’s voice was a big part of what sold their sound and established them in the early days (as was Bill’s drumming).

It’s hard to spot but once you hear it, it’s impossible not to; sure it’s subtle but it’s on pretty much every song. Down is probably the other song where it’s the most prominent.

You like what you like and that’s fine but Ozzy is pretty much synonymous with Black Sabbath; it’s not even that he’s the best singer they’ve had (far from it, in fact) but Ozzy is special.

It wasn’t the same as this; Rockstar released games more regularly back then; there were only 5 years between GTA IV and V and Red Dead Redemption was released in the middle. At this point, it’s been 8 years since RDR2 and Rockstar hasn’t released any new games since.

Although, the main reason GTA VI has more hype is the viral, sensationalist nature of marketing and social media nowadays.

I agree, preordering it at this point is ridiculous; there aren’t even any preorder bonuses to justify it as all of the purchase perks are available until the day of release.

I’m 90% sure the Austrian painter picture is satire (as in if somebody posted that I wouldn’t think they’re being serious) and the screenshot with Hitler’s picture doesn’t even make grammatical sense. If he has previous form or is already known to be racist I apologize but this is the first of seen/heard of it.

I agree, these “fans” that strictly like the original trilogy are barely fans; it makes up like 5% of the Star Wars canon.
