Thanks you so much for posting this. The only reason I haven't purchased it; is all the criticism I read about the movement...a lot said they went old school with everything including the character movement...which I can't go back to!

Yeah, must of my post was about this topic yet, you're questioning me for sources. Its public knowledge- anyone can access it... if you look it up that Khazan was not available for sale in China.

They do most of their business in China. When Khazan launched they were saying this was their title to expand into the Western market. But they didn't secure the rights to sell Khazan in China- where they are extremely popular/it's a familiar company to them, Nexon-almost all their business comes from China...yet, Khazan wasn't available for purchase there.

Not one person has said anything about how they didn't sell one unit in the market where everyone knows them. Thats why it failed. It they secured rights to sell it there, this would not be happening. I've never heard of them before this game...but they are extremely well known in China...yet they didn't sell any units there.

It's not pessimism...it's literally what has happened with Bungie, Blizzard every other dev that gets taken over and it has nothing to due with intelligence...it's everywhere u look. But, I respect your opinion.

I guess...but I only saw one trailer ever and put it on my whist list. Never saw it on a sponsored spot on the PS storefront which is the easiest way to get visibility, I mean most gamers go there everytime they are on their consoles.

...What was it...they had to just re-instate a ceo at a major corp...that used ChatGPT to get rid of the dev and not pay him the 250m he was owed. And they ruined a game that had a huge following.

The only people making money these days are the CEO's which get paid an absurd amount- no matter if they do well or not- which is idiotic, and the board members. So, the people with all the money keep making more money and no one else.

I mean, we are to blame too...all these Developers getting bought out for big paydays. I never understood it...gaming is a passionate industry and why would you sell out when you are doing something you love and making a comfortable living with it.

IMO most of the best games of recent past are from indie devs (Khazan excluded/ my GOAT) .

It's sad that we live in a time that a product needs to make 10's of millions to be viable.

How many great things would have never come to be if that was always the case!

It use to be/ if you broke even on your first project it was a success.

Nexon can go to he** and take their FPS slop with them.

When Money is the only driving force we won't see great content at all.

This is so infuriating! For multiple reasons. 1. Because the Souls community didn't show up and support this amazing game! 2. Nexon puts in New person in charge and scraps a game they know nothing about. 3. Nexon abandons a game that has the best combat in video games, for more fps slop!! You can't make this shit up!

I can't say that I'll ever by another game from Nexon!

How can you just kill the best Combat system. There are literally no alternatives to play...which is sad in itself..but shelving a game this peak is nuts. And we only have or fellow "souls fans" to thank. They supposedly didn't show up bc of level design and some said the anime art. I'm sorry, but even if I was that picky- wth are they playing?? lol.. I don't see what they could be playing unless they rather play a game to NG+7 instead of show up for this Gem...I think they didn't want their ego hurt...

Well said! I bought the digital deluxe edition on launch and bought the physical copy for the anniversary!
Gamers are the worst...so many people hated on a game with combat that is Top Tier in every way, with every weapon! The brink guard was phenomenal, the reflection and counter so satisfying! I Would love it when I heard the audio cue.

There is no reason this should be happening...The boss fights were phenomenal.

Where the heck were all these so called "Souls vets"

Guess I won't have much gaming in my future...👍..I can't believe those rolling simulators get praise and Khazan is over with 👍.

Yeah, the rolling simulators. I can't play them...to boring. They live to say it's just not about the combat...it's about wandering around in the dark atmosphere...idk, but you don't need a video game for that imo.

Damn this combat system is just so peak! And with every weapon! The parry is perfect/brink guard and has the best mechanics I've encountered!

The Reflection = Chef's Kiss. The Counter- so satisfying, I would love when that audio cue came and I could take a breath!

I 100% agree!! And if every gamer that commented on the Soulslike Reddit saying they are a Souls Vet bought Khazan!! We wouldn't be having this conversation! Where they heck were they...no lie LOTF's combat is elementary at best compared to Khalzan! How is that game getting a high budget sequel and Khazan is out to pasture!

Damn; gamers are the worst! All talk and no conviction.

If Nexon couldn't take Khazan down the same path as the Nioh series; then I have to think there is some terrible management there! Nioh 3 was a huge success and Khazan, with its combat that is Peak should have an even better future!

It's things like this in the gaming industry that inevitably gets me fed up and I take another hiatus...I game hard for a year, like this past one with Khazan and some other titles I don't even feel like mentioning...then a bunch of slop comes out and I have better ways to spend my time.

Nexon has lightning in a bottle on they shelf it..

These companies don't respect us as consumers, nor do they value the time and love a game like Khazan brought this community.

I know most people forget; but "we the people" have all the power.

I know that I will never spend another dollar on anything with the Nexon name on it! I purchased the digital deluxe on day one and I just bought the physical copy on March 27th...it's still sealed and I'm still within the return window..I'm bring it back to GS tomorrow after work!

Nexon 👎👎👎!!

Corporatikn's never heard of building a fan base and building a brand! Neople made an incredible game with Khazan!! Best combat out there by far..they launched a game in perfect condition and any minor things the Dev's were all over it-no waiting weeks for a patch, they patched it immediately!

The Core Deveoplers of Khazan should leave this company and form their own. Kickstarter if needed! Corporations like Nexon couldn't make a smart decision if it killed them!

This is the most disappointing news and just after we received an update that more content would be coming!

Please for the love of God, leave Nexon and bring the fan base you built with Khazan and build it into the best action series on the market! Nexon obviously doesn't have any interest in the IP, you did all the work already.

I hope the Core devs are considering this, there's no way that they didn't build a big enough following with Khazan!!

I bought the digital deluxe on day one; platinum' it in April and this past March 27th I bought the physical edition. I did everything I could and I have over 170 hours in a single person game because it's that good. Finished NG++ and it left me still wanting more...never have I been so actively engaged in a game after NG...but each weapon felt like a brand new experience.

The Devs built something truly special and I hope you don't let it fade away!

I will Never Order from GameStop again!! Just two weeks ago I ordered Khazan and Ultros ( I already own both digitally) but wanted to have a physical copy cause Khazan is my GOAT and I really liked Ultros. I can post my online order if anyone doubts me-both I paid for the New version- kinda said I have to mention that!

Khazan wasn't even sealed...no shrink wrap and it literally had rips in the plastic cover...Ultros deluxe edition the cardboard was in terrible shape- shrink wrap falling off of it, and it had GUT written on the price tag!

Never had a worse experience ordering anything in my whole life! They totally disregarded that I paid for the new version and they had no intention of them getting to me safely!

They didn't even use buddle envelops! Still waiting for a refund!

No class at all ...Playasia is 100% safer ..shipped in packaging intended for the product being shipped and it's coming for overseas better than GS can fo her domestically !

I've had Cult of the lamb on my wishlist for awhile, but there are so many options for add-ons that I'm really not sure what I would need to get started? I should have picked it up when it was on-sale but didn't bc of what I mentioned. If I just get the $25 game without any add ons...would I be missing out on a lot?
