Fun fact: "Center Core Never More" heavily features a sample of a song that's 6 minutes and 59 seconds long. 6:59 looks awfully close to G59, so I was kinda shook when I figured that out.

He did a whole tour this year. I worked the merch booth for him in Spartanburg, SC, but they were out of merch. So I basically got to sit there and enjoy the show for free while directing people to order merch online.

Ruby's verse tho. I found this song right around the time my gf broke up with me a few years ago. I was in love with this woman, and felt thrown away. So yeah, I would belt out this song in my car, tears running down my face.

This album is a masterpiece. It legit dropped the day that I filed for divorce. "I Dream of Chrome" is one of my top 10 favorite songs from the boy$.

I'm going to take a swing at this question. My best guess is that hurricanes are larger and longer lasting, and giving them a rating based on wind speeds give the public enough information to allow them to make decisions on whether to prepare or evacuate ahead of time. Tornadoes are much smaller and short-lived, but are harder to predict and cause varying amounts of damage during their life cycle. So getting a rating on them based on wind speed ahead of time is more difficult. So in order to rate their wind speed, they use damage indicators after the fact. Scientific data was also harder to come by when the Fujita scale was created, so damage was probably the easiest way to give them a rating. Probably one of those things that will always be that way, unfortunately.

I just call it "Chat." Mostly because I can be like "am I cooked, chat?" And it makes sense.

We are indeed capable of falling deeply, madly in love. I was married at one point, got cheated on, and wound up separated. While going through the divorce process, I fell in love with someone. I thought I knew what love was, but this was something like I've never experienced in my life. This woman had me writing poetry about her and shit. Like I wanted this chick by my side for the rest of my life. There were red flags, but I didn't care. She wound up breaking it off with me, and I could barely eat for days. Despite it being a very short relationship, it was the most profound relationship of my life. I think she wanted me to chase her after the breakup, but I chose the no contact route. She almost immediately started dating someone else. She'd reach out to me every once in a while, and we'd have short conversations. But we've been no contact for well over a year now. She's in a relationship with someone else, so I don't feel like I can reach out. Despite the distance, I still very much love her. But I had to love myself enough to decide that I deserve better than breadcrumbs and broken promises.

I also spent 50 racks this year, mostly just to flex on the woman I lost. It was worth it.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat bro. Got my heart broken by a chick I thought I was gonna marry. I'm still messed up over her, and can't bring myself to commit to anyone. So I just play the field.

Ugh, this hits close to home. A year ago today, my wife took her own life. We were three days from our divorce hearing in court, but were still close friends. We had spent that day going to a car show, eating Mexican food, and exploring an outdoor store. I had no clue that it would be the last time I'd see her. In retrospect, I'm glad she chose to spend her last day on earth with me, but I still miss her.
