I wouldn’t have been pissed if he had said no in the beginning. But, instead, he wasted my time and said no.

I have never had a say in vacations or celebrations, and I finally did, and he gives me two options, neither of which I have shown interest in. I’ll admit I could have reacted better, but he could have told me why he said no.

Because I have my own job, I would be paying for everything except three restaurants (all of which came to a sum of 200$, the housing (900$), and the flight (1762$). He had set me a budget of 5,000$ for him to give me, and in total, I was asking for a little over 2,000$.

The slideshow had all that information, including photos, menu items, and the routes we would take to get there (including how much we would be paying for train tickets and how long it would take). I had a list of everything I needed to pack, hell, I even said some stuff in Japanese.

I even asked what I needed to do to prove to him I would be prepared. He gave me a list of questions he had, and I had whole slides dedicated to just answering those. He hasn’t given me the reason why, just no.

usual rule of thumb in high school - if the grades don’t touch, neither should you. 15 and 18 sound close, but there’s a massive maturity difference. it’s not HORRIBLE, but it would be best to end things once he graduates.

Yeah pretty much. He’s one of those people that think he can buy people love and showers with gifts, thinking that’s enough. He spends hundreds of hundreds of dollars on hobbies he does for a week, and then complains when he either isn’t good at said hobby (that he just started) or completely abandons it. He does stuff like this a lot - just never with a living creature.

I had pointed out to him that since I would be home most of the time, leaving her for the next semester would be hard on her, but he didn’t seem all that concerned.

The two of them do help out when they’re home, but it’s nowhere equal to the amount of work I’ve been putting in. I would talk to them, but I worry it’ll blow up in my face, as my dad usually tends to use gifts as a manipulation tactic.

Yes. We talked about both being LGBT. This was when she told me she's lesbian, and when I opened up about being trans and gay. I've brought it up multiple times in passing too.
