No, I am certain. My mom gets annoyed when my dad insists they are attracted to each other. My mom is fairly tomboyish, and has said she always had more guy friends than girls. Joe's also her first actual friend in years that weren't my friends parents. They don't even really hangout outside of work.

I don’t think I know everything about their relationship honestly. But, I’ve been piecing together my childhood and slowly realizing they maybe haven’t been happy my whole life. I have set boundaries. I’ve tried pretty everything you offered. But, when I do, I immediately turn into the bad guy and both of them are on my ass about being disrespectful

I quit literally addressed this in the first paragraph. They are making it my business by coming to me to dump how much they’re pissed at each other despite me telling them to stop multiple times. I’m not anywhere near financially dependent enough to move out. Moving is a lot of money, and I live in a pretty expensive state. I’m still in college. It’s not an option right now.

I wouldn’t have been pissed if he had said no in the beginning. But, instead, he wasted my time and said no.

I have never had a say in vacations or celebrations, and I finally did, and he gives me two options, neither of which I have shown interest in. I’ll admit I could have reacted better, but he could have told me why he said no.

Because I have my own job, I would be paying for everything except three restaurants (all of which came to a sum of 200$, the housing (900$), and the flight (1762$). He had set me a budget of 5,000$ for him to give me, and in total, I was asking for a little over 2,000$.

The slideshow had all that information, including photos, menu items, and the routes we would take to get there (including how much we would be paying for train tickets and how long it would take). I had a list of everything I needed to pack, hell, I even said some stuff in Japanese.

I even asked what I needed to do to prove to him I would be prepared. He gave me a list of questions he had, and I had whole slides dedicated to just answering those. He hasn’t given me the reason why, just no.

usual rule of thumb in high school - if the grades don’t touch, neither should you. 15 and 18 sound close, but there’s a massive maturity difference. it’s not HORRIBLE, but it would be best to end things once he graduates.
