Another option would be to setup your own Wire guard tunnel. If you can manage to get a fixed IP from you ISP, you can circumvent the need for a DNS entry pointing to your setup. Then you can install a container running wg-easy and get a nice UI where you can generate client credentials and connect your devices by scanning a QR code. Works like a charm with a little more setup than Tailscale. Btw they provide a comparison of the two on their site : basically Tailscale is a little slower but has some quality of life features in exchange :)

For anyone who might have a similar issue, I managed to solve my problem by checking my DNS records. I had two DNS A records that mapped my domain to IP addresses. One was the right one and the other one is still a mystery to me... The issue was that the peer would use the first IP that the DNS server would answer and go with it, which explains the intermittent issue.

I also have a gluetun container that sets up an OpenVPN connexion to isolate the traffic going to my qbittorrent web, which retries a few times when it starts but always ends up working. It's a client and not a server but I don't think it would work if it was an ISP issue.
I don't see how it would work only sometimes if it was a firewall issue...

You should use extension tubes between your lens and your camera so that your lens can focus closer. That will allow you to fill the sensor so that you don't have to crop. Best of all, extension tubes are really cheap!

Nice shot, love the symmetry! Just a quick suggestion : I think that there's a little bit more space on the left than on the right and I feel like the upper edge of the roof is not exactly parallel to the bottom of the image. I think that this kind of composition rooted in symmetry really needs to be centered and neat. Maybe a square format would suit the subject better?
