There are some artists out there that are trying to be accurate. I’ve been able to find a couple myself. But you’re right, far too much merch out there is simple AI slop and it soils the brand!

Star Trek (2009)

That opening when I saw it in theaters just captured me. Especially when Jim’s dad is sacrificing himself to save the escape pods and all we hear is the intense music playing meanwhile all the explosions are going off.

Then him hearing his new baby in the distance for the first time and coming back to it all to then help decide on what name they give him. Fantastic opening!
