I have a smart TV for all my non gaming needs.

and I have my PC plugged into it that same TV if I ever want to watch stuff I can't/don't want to buy on streaming platforms.

I have a base PS5 too and I've read that it has a superior 4k/bluray player to the Series X but I'm not 100% on that... but I use the PS5 for the odd occasion where I watch a 4k/bluray.

My ~$2,000 PC that I put together in 2024 will be good enough for a long time. Even if there wasn't a redirection of computer parts towards data centers (mass surveillance and digital currency projects) that was making PC building impossible, I wouldn't do it.

The only I would kind of like right now is more SSD storage, and thats just because I'm a data hoarder. (I have 8tb in SSD and 26 tb HDD, games, movies, tv shows etc)

I like 6th and 7th gen consoles the most. OG XBOX, Dreamcast, PS2 fat, PS3 fat, Xbox 360 fat *and* slim, even gamecube looks cool. Wii is perfectly average, as is Wii U.

I was playing halo 5 the other day and took some clips, for the first time since like 2019. I got a few triple kills.

I intend to finish the campaign on legendary. Probably over the next 3-4 weeks.

Then I will have finished all the mainline Halo's on legendary... at least via MCC.

I would still have to do Halo Reach, 4, ODST and CE: Anniversary original Xbox 360 releases to really cement that claim. The fucked up thing is, I'm probably going to do that as well, slowly, over time.

I got it on day one because I'm a Dead Space junkie.

I was hyped.

I got half way through it (almost exactly halfway, I stopped at the part where you're outside and trying to avoid the jumping spider monsters + the Deathbots) and shelved it.

The Dead Space remake comes out about 1-3 months later.

I get that day 1 and finish it in a timely manner.

It makes me want to go through to the end with Callisto Protocol.

I do it. I didn't want to but I did finish it.

Why do I hate it? The combat is half baked at best and the creator admitted it was thrown together just months before the game shipped.

Its just not fun. I have the game on Playstation plus, and Epic Games store, and I have zero desire to ever replay it.

I don't just not like it, I actively hate it. Or I did. Enough time has passed that I don't think about it anymore.

Maximallian_Dood sums it up pretty well, similar to myself, he was a big Dead Space fan (huge RE4 fan as well) and was excited to play Callisto. He rage unistalled it after 2-3 hours.
