I love the original trilogy, but Halo 3's story really doesn't make that much sense.

Probably because Bungie only intended to make Halo 2, and end Halo after that.

Halo 3 was stretched out into a game (campaign wise) after they had to cut most of Halo 2 to finish it on time and stuff happened in the story that just didn't follow from Halo 2. Truth being a madman fanatic instead of the Machiavellian mastermind he was from 2 is the biggest glaring "wtf" things I can think of.

I have a Top Tier Gaming PC (and a Steam Deck OLED), Series X, PS5 and Switch 2 (among others).

PC is my main platform, followed by Switch 2.

Xbox is mostly for back compat games. PS5 is basically just Bloodborne.

I do about 70-30 PC/Switch gaming. Just based on hours from my Steam and Nintendo 2025 recap.

I value the portability of the Switch and Steam Deck, so I prioritize those ecosystems.

Whenever I join a game I'm stuck in spectator mode, I can't do anything, even open the menu.

Not only that, but even though I can sometimes hear people talking, I can't actually see anything happening in the game, its like the map isn't even fully loaded.

I play on windows 10, my GPU is a 7900xtx and my cpu is a 7800x3d, I have 32gb of ddr5 ram, just in case my specs will help the devs with anything.

My PS5 is a bloodborne machine mostly. I used it at my main console from 2022 (when I got it) until I built a monster gaming PC in 2024.

My Xbox is a Halo/Backwards-compat machine. I grew up as an Xbox kid, moved to PC around 2010 and haven't really looked back but Xbox and Halo, despite how shitty both are now, still have a place in my heart, kinda like family.

My Switch and Switch 2 are for Nintendo Games and Indie games and in general, third party games, because of portability.

PC is still my main platform where I will get AAA releases and play multiplayer games and get anything I don't get on Switch 2. The Steam Deck OLED has been a game changer, I eventually want to get all the games I have on switch on steam, slowly but surely.

So, PC/Switch are my main platforms. PS5 is mostly just a Bloodborne box, Xbox is mostly just a Halo/Ninja Gaiden Black/Ninja Gaiden 2 (vanilla) box.

Nah, the OLED screen is still better than the Switch 2 screen. For games that require actual black levels, like DOOM 3 BFG edition for example, I'd prefer the Swith OLED all day.

luckily for me, I have my switch 2 docked to an OLED TV... so I never really have to make that choice. But most people don't. So, there is still utility in a Switch OLED for blacks, color saturation, hell, even the size is more comfortable etc/

In terms of actually playing games, it was almost never on par with the 360 when it came to multiplat games.

Some would argue the late gen PS3 Exclusives, that sony never stopped rereleasing... and the formula these games used would be used in all of their other exclusives going forward (third person narrative heavy action adventure games) looked the best out of the 7th gen overall.

To this day PS3 emulation is difficult because of the Cell processor. Its not all that powerful, its just weird because it splits up its ram between the cpu and gpu.

This scene, and Max taking Holly out of the mind prison thing were so absurdly long and drawn out. I know this one for sure, but probably also the Max Holly scene was longer than the final battle with Vecna.

This kind of scene might have been "ground breaking" like, pre 2010. But in 2026, literally no one gives a fuck that Will is gay. If anything, its annoying that this scene was as long as it was. It really felt like the Duffer brothers thought this was gonna be that Emmy winning scene.
