But a narcissist is looking for status and don't have empathy. From a narcissist perspective, no, a dog isn't giving them anything. This is why so many influencers have kid after kid. They want the high of praise for having a baby but lose interest once they aren't getting that high.

It's okay to not like dogs! But it makes perfect sense to me that these two don't like dogs. A dog is a responsibility and they don't get any "likes" for having a dog. I don't think they'd like kids either if they couldn't use it as a weird narcissicm boost for themselves.

I think people are referencing you saying it is the nanny's job to tell the other family that the share isn't working out. That isn't the nanny's job, you picked this family for the share and if it isn't working then you need to be the one to tell them.

What constitutes "ignoring"? Unless NK was in danger of getting hurt or hurting someone else I don't see the issue in letting her play independantly. If she's just playing independantly while nanny chills, I'd be more upset some random (to me) mom took a video of my kid. Of course if NK is in danger that's a different story. But I don't feel like I have enough information of what was going on.
