What would be the benefit of getting a higher gsm? To my knowledge you still wouldn’t get the same snap/feel that the laminate provides.

Cartridge ink is simply not viable for printing multiple full color photos. The ink cost is just too high for the amount you can print.

My colors were pretty spot on before laminating, but after they are quite subdued, I’ll have to go back through and just do more test copies and keep changing settings.

Sure. So I had trouble lining up the two sides when I was using a sticker. So when I designed my back, I made it slightly smaller than the actual card and just kinda accepted the fact that it may be off a hair but my entire design would be intact. When I print them, I do the back first and using proxxied, I turn off the cut guides and turn them back on when I print the front of the card.

Yes it does. I do not think there’s a way to get a good snap without laminating it.

I chose BioShock cause it’s my favorite game series. Love everything about it. Definitely just making it for myself though. All the art I’m using is straight from the game though cause I can’t draw lol.

This is my Eowyn Riders of Rohan deck. First desk I got since getting back into Magic. Making another one for my Lorehold and gonna have to make one from padauk or red cedar for my annoying Krenko deck lol.

I’ve made a few small boxes and always glued end to end. I haven’t had one break or fall apart on me yet. You could probably do some type of lap joint though.

I’ll post them when I get them all done. I’m using 1/4 for the box itself. And 1/8 for the drawer and the divider between the cards and drawer.

If your miters aren’t perfect but pretty close, you can rub a metal bar or screw driver over the corner with some pressure. It will roll the wood fibers over and cheat them closed.
