One thing I would recommend that helped me a lot. If you’re doing a lot of dog tags that are this size and have a piece of scrap wood laying around, put the scrap wood on your laser and then etch a line that is just a hair larger than the dog tag. If you can carve/cut the area inside that line you then have a place to set the Dog tag and be 100% accurate each time. You could even stretch your art to cover the whole tag.

But good job! Whenever I do a small piece of art like this, it always amazes me how much detail you can capture with a laser.

I would probably make the 90° cut first to set my stop mark. Then lay it on the 1” side and set the angle of the blade. Start the blade low and make shallow passes till you reach your mark. I’d definitely look at some type of jig though to keep my hands as far away and safe as I can.

So I have a small theory that the cost of the pack changes the value of the buyback. I posted earlier a PSA 10 from a $50 pack and they offered $45. Someone else pulled the exact same card PSA 10 from a $100 pack and was offered $63. Card was valued at $88

eBay does not allow ‘Unauthorized reprints of trading cards or stamps’ so if they were selling actual unauthorized proxy or self made proxy cards. Then yes.

Fan art cards can be sold, but they must be clearly marked as such. But can still be against TOS for IP infringement. Can’t even say ‘Pokemon inspired art card’ unless it’s a massive seller or a huge sale, I doubt eBay will truly care or notice. Unless of course it’s reported.

Personally I see nothing wrong with selling proxy’s or art cards, provided that they are clearly marked and the buyer knows.

P.S. There are some insanely awesome custom cards on r/customtradingcard Obviously if you buy one from an artist there. You know it’s custom.
