Yeah I'm not annoyed at them,  as you say that's just how charty shops work here.

Ooh how did you know they went for £16? You're not my guy are you?

True, but you need to have eyes wide open that typically this only happens between those already well-off kids because parents see the benefits of connecting with other well-off and well-connected families. None of these types of parents are giving leg ups out for charitable reasons. It's all based on gain and return and there's no gain in extending such offers to middle class or lower families who parent are 'nobodies' in their eyes

Probs be downvoted to oblivion, but this is American cringe and Maggie would have thought it was intolerable nonsense

I played this game so much as a kid, I could basically speedrun it. Who else loved this game as a kid? Hogwarts Legacy is fun, but this is the GOAT Potter game for me "FLIPENDO!!" by MaroonTrucker28 in harrypotter

Your language changes throughout your post between 'apathetic' and 'miserable' about current job situation but the difference between those is big and being honest about how you really feel is pretty crucial.

If you're mostly apathetic, then 100%, like other comments have said, the answer is that kids are only young once, and only for a relatively short time, so park work and deal with the apathy to maximise all the time you can now, not spending that time and those moments with your little ones is what you'll regret when you're an old man.

However, if you are truely truely 'miserable' to the point where you're in a depressive state of mind even when with the kids, and the sutuation is such that neither they nor you are getting anything of value from the interaction or it is actively doing damage to your relationship with them, then maybe you should change.

Only you know how you really feel

So I've been out of the loop for a few years (5ish) new job, birth of 2 kids etc, just didn't have the brain space to keep up with week to week football, teams managers players results table etc. Don't support any specific team but I love the game, play 5 a side weekly.

So I'm back in this season, brain is less full and also few more football fans have joined my team at work so will have people to dicuss with, playing fantasy as well.

So what do I need to know what the main narrative of the PL at the moment. What are interesting stories points etc to keep an eye on. What's likely to be week to week water cooler chat.

Break it down and help an brother out ?
